Sapphire Beautiful The Club Series by Karen M. Bryson

First, I want to thank Karen M. Bryson whom is writing as Ren Monterrey for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Sapphire Beautiful is the second book in the The Club Series. These books can be read as standalones as they are not meant to be read as a series. However, I am seeing a trend in the books that I am reading. They all have sexual arrangements in various situations. With the past book in the series there were a lot of sex scenes in this book.

My heart went out to Dr. Mary Pine for so many reasons. Her professor husband was in the middle of a sex scandal and ended up killing himself. She was devastated. Not to mention he left her with a lot of bills to pay! She totally went way out of her comfort zone to get the money she needed. However, what she found in the long run was more than she bargained for.

Out of the Shadows Ana Stone

First, I want to thank Ana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Out of the Shadows is the first book of the Renegades written by Ana Stone. This is Ciana Stone’s pen name and being a fan of Ciana I had to read this book. What I loved about this book is it is a total opposite of what we are used to reading from her other genre. This does have romance but it doesn’t have the heat as the other stories do.

I absolutely LOVED the story of Zeke and Roxy. The bond these two had that they had even though they never met before. However, they both had unique pasts that had common threads. It was like a strong force was pulling them together from above. Learning about their pasts and who they are now was cool. It was a love story like anything I have ever read before.

If you like gun violence, gangs, family feuding this book maybe for you. However, I more the love story aspect.

Wise Before Their Time By Ann Richardson and Dietmar Bolle Foreward by Sir Ian McKellen

First, I want to thank Ann Richardson Dietmar Bolle with a Foreward by Sir Iam McKellen for providing me with this book so I may provide you with this review.

Wise Before Their Time People With AIDS and HIV Talk about Their Lives by Ann Richardson a very compassionate look at the lives and daily struggles of people living with HIV and AIDS. A book that you will definitely need your tissues for. A book that will show you that living with HIV and AIDS is not an easy one and each individual is very courageous for going through this battle. You will get a better understanding of the personal and clinical side of this disease.

Throughout this book you will read stories of individuals whom have HIV and AIDS. Each story will touch your hearts in different ways. Many will tell you how they found out they got the disease, how they told their families, what life is like for them now, etc. You will learn that it is not just a gay disease and that even babies can get this. After reading these stories you will never look the same at this disease the same way again.
Words could not express how my heart ached Ann Richardson whom lost her dear friend and co-author of this book Dietmar Bolle to AIDS. It would have been 25 years since his passing. Deitmar had a heart of gold, a passion for helping people and making a difference in their lives. In all of his achievements he accomplished he truly changed these people’s lives for the better. He was truly an incredible man that I would have loved to have the honor to meet. Dietmar Bolle thank you for everything you did for the AIDS/HIV community.

Mark from Canada mentioned something in this book that I loved “Many express a love of being alive and the need not to take things for granted.” “In the life, I am very much an observer. I like to be looking, the people, the things. I have a marvelous relationship with one of my nephews, I love him very much. And to see him growing each day, it is a marvelous for me.”

Everything We Need Finding Forever Book 4 Rebecca Raine

First, I want to thank Rebecca Raine for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Everything We Need is the fourth book in Rebecca Raine’s series Finding Forever. I am a huge fan of hers and this series. So It was a no brainer when this book came out that I must read it. She did an amazing job this time around as all the other books she has written in the past!

Rebecca wrote a story that was new and fresh and that has never been done before. At least not that I have ever read before. I loved all three of the main characters of the story. Totally loved how Trina got met Jeremy under false pretenses only to find out later his true self. Then you have Brady who was in awe of Trina....but Jeremy as well. It made for a very interesting story!! One that I really enjoyed reading.

One thing I liked most about the book was there was a really good storyline to it PLUS sex!

All The Broken Pieces Finding Forever by Rebecca Raine

First, I want to thank Rebecca Raine for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

All The Broken Pieces Finding Forever, Book 5 by Rebecca Raine is the first gay romance book she has ever done. I commend her for that! In the past she has done ménage with two guys and a girl but never with just two guys.

I absolutely loved how this book was dedicated to all the same-sex couples who are now legally able to marry in Australia.

The cover is couldn’t be hotter with two handsome men gracing the cover. Kudos to another one of my favorite authors Syneca Featherstone.
Jeremy did something after his last relationship broke up that I wish most men did. After realizing going from one relationship to the next wasn’t going to help heal his broken heart from Aaron, he took a step back from dating. He realized he needed to be ok on his own and trust himself before he could be with someone else. Many men don’t get that they need to heal before jumping into another relationship.

I loved the friendship that Jeremy and Harrison was forming. Dam can Rebecca write dam good gay sex scenes!! The way she wrote them made it very enjoyable to read!!

About That Summer Every Summer Has a Story Book 1

First, I want to thank Brooke Moss for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Here to Campfires and S’mores by Brooke Moss Wow! What a powerful book! Three girls meet at Camp Chimalis right after Molly’s father passes away. She meets Bree and April whom become her BFF’s both seem cool as heck. They share some great times together as kids and as adults. Some hard to swallow scenes pull on your heart strings.

I loved the part where they are talking about the musical group the Cranberries and Delores O’Rierdon (may she RIP). Plus all the other references to the 90’s!

Lies from a Long Ago by Reign Waters-Grey

First, I want to thank Reign Waters-Grey for providing me with this book so I may bring you with this review.

Lies From Long Ago Sex, Lies, and Thanksgiving Dinner by Reign Waters Grey was not the book I was expecting it to be! It was actually better! Reign Waters-Grey was an author I had never read before and gave her and the book a chance. Oh I am so glad I did. I am an instant fan and will read anything this author writes!
This book had so many secrets, twist and turns, student/professor tyst, murder, heavy flirtation, suspense, an amazing fresh plot line that has never been before. This book had you on your toes the last page of the book. You never saw the end coming at all-at least I didn’t!
This would make such a great movie!

Temptation Island Murder in Paradise Series Rachel Woods

First, I want to thank Rachel Woods for providing me with this book so I may bring you with this review.

WOW!! Rachel Woods surprised the heck out of me with this book!!! Temptation Island Murder in Paradise was NOT the book I was expecting at all. Sure I knew it was going to be sex filled and was open to that. However, I had no clue how much mystery, suspense, blackmail, twists and turns, near rape scenes, nightmares, hidden cameras in odd places, unsuspected suspects, etc there would be in the book. I am a huge fan of books like this-so I was happy!!

This book’s storyline was unlike any other I had read before. It started off a little slow at first I admit. By the second or third chapter it really picked up. When it did pick up I could not put it down! I needed to know what happened. I was SHOCKED to see what happened at the end. I did NOT see it coming!

This is part of a series and I must read the second book in the series!! I am now a fan of this author!!

Mason James Heartbreakers and Heroes book 2 Ciana Stone

First, I want to thank Ciana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Mason James is the second book in the Heartbreakers and Hero’s series. I have been a fan of Ciana’s work for a while and I can tell you this is the BEST book she has written that I have ever read. I would strongly encourage her to write more books like this!! It had everything for everyone. Not to mention there were 2 covers for this book. The original cover is the one that pulled on my heart strings and I knew I must read this book. It was of Mason and Tommy on the front cover. I didn’t need to know what the book was about. I just knew by that cover I was going to love that book. Then the other cover which I literally just saw after reading the book was Mason looking hot as heck!! I can understand why Ciana went that route as well. Overall amazing story and amazing covers!!

In the Dedication Ciana mentions her bestie Rita. I am glad she is a reminder to Ciana to always write from the heart. This book truly saw her heart shine bright!

Of all Ciana’s characters in all of her books Savanah and Mason hands down are my two fave. Savanah for all the pain and trauma she went through in her life. I wanted to reach into the book and give her a hug. She became a very strong person through all of that. Mason I loved because he opened up something in her that had been dormant for so long. He was brought happiness back into her world.

I loved the mystery aspect of this story and how it was not all just sex and romance. Yes, it had it’s passionate scenes but it also had an amazing and fresh plot. Oh and it had an adorable baby Tommy.
This is a book I would love to see on The Hallmark Channe

Freya The Confession An Amish Short Story

First, I want to thank Ashley Emily Emma for providing me with this book so I may bring you with this review.

Freya: The Confession An Amish Short Story by Ashley a was a very cute story. It was very quick, sweet and easy read. I have always enjoyed reading Amish style books and figured I would give this author a try. I was pleasantly surprised.

This book was filled with an terrible accident, forgiveness, shunning, remorse, running from abuse, etc.

On The Way To a Wedding by Suzanne Stengl

First, I want to thank Suzanne Stengl for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

On The Way to a Wedding Something Old, Something New Book 2 by Susan Stengl can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. I read it as a standalone and was able to follow the storyline. It was a very entertaining book. You had two couples who were totally wrong for eachother. A parent who was very controlling, who wouldn’t listen, and didn’t care what her daughter truly wanted. Then there is a saying everything happens for a reason. In the beginning of the book we meet Tori whom just got into a car accident. Luckily Ryder Is there to help her out.

In this story the Mother rubbed me the wrong way badly. She was only focused on her wants and needs financially and not what was best for her daughter. Meanwhile, this put a huge strain on their relationship. I wanted to go into the book and defend Tori and speak up for her. Her Mom made me so upset!

This book has a twist at the end that nobody saw coming-not even me!

Yes, Mr. Mitchell by Luxx Monroe

First, I have to thank Luxx Monroe for providing me with this book so that I may give you this review.

I have found my new fave author and new fave book of 2016!!! Luxx Monore Yes, Mr. Mitchell blew me away! Of course I knew it was going to have a taboo theme to it. However, what it gave you was so much more than just mind blowing sex!!! It had an amazing storyline with a lot of twists and curves to it. Not only that but I had no clue until the very ending of the book that this is a series! Yes!! Luxx left us with an amazing cliffhanger!! So folks this is part of a series!!! Now I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book!!

I am in LOVE with Nikki’s character!! She is so sweet and innocent and a virgin!! Little does she know whom she lost her virginity too! OMG the hott scenes that 18 year old freshman in college has!! Oh and Gallen Mitchell-DAM!! I wish he were my teacher back in the day!! Those two steamed up my kindle!!!

The detail that Luxx put into describing every scene in this book was incredible! The characters were relatable! The scenes were hott and steamy!! The twists and turns at the end of the book you never saw coming. I didn’t want the book to end!

Love's First Fall by Juie Sanford

First, I want to thank Julie Sanford for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

WOW! I think I may have found a new fave author to follow!!! Love’s First Fall by Julie Sanford totally blew my mind with this book from the very beginning of this book. From the taboo subject material that my eyes were glued to I was intrigued to read more into the story. Sure, there were incredible sexy moments in the book. However, there were amazing stories within the story. Stories about an unconventional true love that was only a once in a lifetime kind of love. Many people might have not been as of accepting of their relationship but they loved each other. The heart wants what it wants.

The characters in the book were fascinating! Especially Christopher, 00Ben/Belle, and Elizabeth. I loved the dynamic those three had. I was not a fan of Eric! Julie really has a knack for creating her characters and telling a unique story that nobody in their wildest dreams would think up. This is what drew me into the story. Not to the sex and the taboo-but that it was a so original and so different. Kudos Lisa.

Love’s First may not be for everyone. It would be a good read for someone with a very open mind sexually. There are taboo subjects in this book that are not usually addressed In many books. This book is very different than the other books I have read before. However, I loved her style of writing and her storytelling.

Deacon Johns Heartbeakers & Heroes book tour Ciana Stone

irst, I want to thank Ciana Stone for providing with this book so I may bring you this review.

Deacon Johns Heartbreak & Heroes Book Tour by Ciana Stone not going to lie but piqued my interest by the cover alone this time around. I knew like the rest of the books in the series that this was going to be a good book. She didn’t disappoint. If you have not read her past books I suggest you do. Past characters like Etta and Jasper Jacks make an appearance in this book. I am so happy to hear they are still getting married.

In this book my favorite character without a doubt was Mica. I loved her storyline with Deacon how he thought he was too old for her but she felt differently. However, they had undeniable attraction for eachother. Her story ran deeper than that and that was the part of the story that I liked the most. Who she was forced to be to whom she really wanted to be. I found her character very indepth.

I loved her hobby for different kind of knives which is really unique.

Alabama Irish by James Russell Lingerfelt

Alabama Irish by James Russell Lingerfelt started off a little bit slow for me at first. I understood the author had to build up the character and his backstory. However, once the story got going it was a great story with powerful scenes.

I loved the fact Brian wrote in a journal every day and that it was basically his only friend til he went away to college. He would write about everything in the journal. I loved how he wrote how he met Shannon and their friendship. What crazy thing he did to get to know her.

My heart ached and I wanted to reach into the book and give Tabs a hug for all the abuse she was put through with Jeff. Nobody should be put what she was put through. He made me sick how he treated her. I am so thankful she got away. I wish Jeff’s Mom could have done the same.

A Spot in My Heart Loving a Special Needs Dog by Kelly Artieri

First, I want to thank Kelly Artieri for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Spot on my Heart by Kelly Artieri definitely left a lasting impression on my heart. Kelly Artieri tells her beautiful story about her amazing Dalmatian Vinnie whom has special needs. She shares with her readers the amazing journey how Vinnie became part of the family. There was one scene that was really hard to read emotionally when deciding to keep Vinnie. This scene pulled on my heart strings tightly! I am so thankful everything worked out. I wanted to reach into the book and give both Kelly and Vinnie a hug.

The bond and the unconditional love that she has for Vinnie shows throughout this book. All the research she did to make sure she taking care of Vinnie and his needs was one way she showed it. Vinnie showed them just as much love if not more back too. It was just a special relationship and experience this family was able to share with this loving dog.

In the book you will see pictures of Vinnie. Kelly also educates you on everything Dalmatians.
This is a short but very powerful read. Even if you never had a dog of your own (like me) you will want one after this book.

45 Pounds of Flesh by Sans Emmett

First, I want to thank Sans W. Emmert, PhD, Books Go Social, and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Forty-Five Pounds of Flesh by Sans W. Emmert, PhD was one of the most mind blowing reads I have read in such a long time! Many of the scenes left you speechless with your mouth gaping open. No author I have ever read for before went down some of the topics that Sans W. Emmert, PhD went down. It made the story extremely interesting. This being said this story may not be for everyone. It is a Physiological Thriller and it does have topics such as rape, domestic violence, death, and some pretty twisted sex related stuff. Read at your own risk.

One of the main reason I wanted to read this story is the author said it would be a fictional version of what he thought what would have happened 20 years ago in the JonBenet Ramsey case. I am a huge fan of that case and what happened to that little girl. So of course I wanted to see what his thoughts were. Obviously, he changed the names around in the book. I saw some similarities to the actual case-but he made it his own story.

My heart went out to Damon in this whole story on so many levels. Sure he was a messed up kid but come on his only father he only knew died at an early age, he then finds out his blood type is not the same as his “father’s”, that he is a product of rape, and then his dog dies of lymphoma! It gets worse from there! The poor guy can’t catch a break! He had a great relationship with his girlfriend Kammie until a secret that she had been keeping from him came out. Oh it was a big one that affected him big time. I even liked their relationship but did not approve of what she did. I didn’t blame him for being upset with her one bit.

Mason Jar by James Russell Lingerfelt

First, I want to thank James Russell Lingerfelt for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

James Russell Lingerfelt is the next Nicholas Sparks in my opinion after reading the Mason Jar. Yes, like all Nicholas Sparks movies this book needs to be made into a movie. After reading this book I am a total fan of his work.

James Russell Lingerfelt is an incredible storyteller filled with beautiful descriptions of the scenery around the characters. He really has a way with writing relationships between characters. The way he wrote the scenes between Eden and Finn were incredible in so many ways. What Finn did to meet her, how they fell in love, and how they reconnected. They truly had the most beautiful love story I have ever read in a book before. I also loved the strong bond between Finn and his Grandfather. He was the one to raise him after he lost his parents and brother in a car accident. He would have been lost with the love and support from his Grandfather.

James touches on subjects in the book that are deep and not touched on in many books. For example PTSD when returning home from the war. How it effects them and the ones that they love.

The List by Annalea Kristina

First, I want to thank Annalea Kristine for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

The List (The List Series Part 1) by Annalea Kristine was an amazing read on so many levels! From page one Annalea brought you into the heart of the story. So much so I was in total shock and totally dumbfounded by what I was reading. Needless to say Immediately Lilly pulled on my heart strings and we would be going on the journey together. I wanted to reach into the book and give her a hug! Annalea did an incredible job pulling out the emotional and mental parts of many of the scenes between Lilly and her sister and Liz. Not to mention the special bond between Angela and her boss she didn’t realize she had.

My ultimate favorite part of the story was how Ethan and Lilly met and seeing the evolution of their relationship blossom. Their chemistry was off the hook and the sex scenes were very enjoyable to read. So many things about this couple that I liked.

There is going to be a second book in the series called The List Revisited. I am looking forward to seeing what happens to Lilly and Ethan in the next book

Liv by Kelsie Rae

First, I want to thank Kelsie Rae for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Kelsie Rae’s Liv novel as a first-time Indie Writer picked a genius of a storyline to for her debut novel. This book will capture your emotions, shock you to the core, have you in tears, and wanting to jump in the book and hug Live by the end of chapter 1! How the author got through writing those scenes I have no clue. However, I give her credit for writing them and for the character living them.

The descriptions, details of the events that took place, and Liv’s thoughts and emotions were
extremely well written. The characters you could not help fall in love with as they were genuine. You could tell that the author was very passionate about the characters in telling of this story.
There was one person in the book that rubbed me the wrong way from the very beginning of the book. That person would be Susan. Adam’s Mom and Liv’s Mom-in-Law.

This story did have a life lesson if you looked very closely.

I didn’t want the book to end. However, Kelsie Rae wrote the best Epilogue that I ever read. It updated the readers on where the characters were in the future. I was grinning ear to ear! Perfect ending to an amazing story!!

The dedication of this book was extremely cute and made this big kid at heart smile. Totally understanding the meaning of where she was coming from with this statement.

I love how genuinely appreciative Kelsie Rae is of her readers as she points this out in the Dear Reader section of her book. She also gives her readers and inside look of whom she really is in the About the Author section of the book.

Kelsie Rae has talent! I hope this is not the last time we as readers get to read her books.

The Girl With No Name by Lisa Regan

First, I want to thank Lisa Regan, Bookouture, and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

The Girl with No Name (Detective Josie Quinn #2) by Lisa Regan is an absolutely gripping mystery and suspense novel that you cant put down til the book ends. Lisa Regan blew me away by her amazing storyline, her unique and interesting cast of characters, the crazy twists and turns, the heartache and betrayal Josie felt on several occasions, etc.

This is one of the best Mystery Suspense crime novels I have read in a really long time. I felt like I was reading something from one of my favorite TV Shows Law and Order SVU. The Girl with No Name really has something for everyone in this book. Missing people, infidelity, strippers, crime, criminal investigations, Jane Doe, etc. Words can’t describe how good this book is.

The Forbidden Love Affair The Forbidden Liaison Series by Kizzie Darker

First, I want to thank Kizzie Darker for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Kizzie Darker’s A Forbidden Love Affair immediately had me missing my sisters while reading this. I totally loved the incredibly special bond that those three girls shared together. These three stuck together through thick and thin no matter what. Their bond with their rest of the family was just as incredibly strong. It was refreshing to read a book where the family was so tight knit. You could tell that Kizzie wrote these characters from the heart.

I cracked up laughing everytime a new member of the family was introduced. Just the way Kizzie did it was adorable.

There were many references to things from my childhood that I was cracking up at. For example the belting out the Fragile Rock song.

I was not a fan of Erica’s but on the same token I did not approve of what Matthew was doing behind her back. However, I grew to love the storyline of Matthew and Ruby.

Kizzie is very talented in writing her sex scenes in this book.

Hiding Out A Memoir of Drugs, Deception, and Double Lives by Tina Alexis Allen

Hiding Out A Memoir of Drugs, Deception and Double Lives by Tina Alexis Allen is a true story. Usually, I don’t read Non-Fiction unless it is true crime, autobiography of someone I really admire or health and wellness. However, this really caught my eye when I saw it in the library. This story was something you would see in the movies. Not something you would think a little girl growing up into a woman would live through and be alright at the end of it all. The prologue explains that through all of this she made it out ok.

This book is filled with lots of secrets, betrayal, sex, underage love affairs, drugs, alcohol, same sex relationships, father daughter bonding, revelations, bisexuality, Christianity, etc.

The book starts off slow but then gets going in the middle of the book

A Flash of Red by Sarah K. Stephens

First, I want to thank Sarah K. Stephens and Pandamoon Publishing for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

A Flash of Red by Sarah K. Stephen’s brought me out of my comfort zone with her overall story and meaning. It is a book that makes you think and analysis what was going on. Her writing style is incredibly descriptive and goes into in Anna’s and Sean’s thoughts and feelings on many different diverse topics.

Sarah K. Stephen’s focus on this book seemed to be mental illness and how it affected relationships. She took us into the lives of Anna and Stephen’s marriage from what it was present day to what it was In the past when they first met. The author concentrated on their sex life in a way most other authors would have not. It was done tastefully and gave you something to think about after the fact. I would have to say that that whole dynamic with those two and how it intertwined with Anna’s realizations about herself was very interesting.

The other relationship Sarah took us into was the bond between Anna and her Mom and how that effected most things in her life.

I really enjoyed this book. It was very different than what I was expecting. However, I would definitely read another book from Sarah K. Stephens again.

Must Love Babies by Lynnette Austin

First, I want to Lynnette Austin, Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Once I saw this adorable cover of Must Love Babies by Lynnette Austin it piqued my interest as I am a sucker for single men and babies. Once I read the synopsis I was hooked line and sinker that I must read this book. I was grateful for the opportunity to review this very sweet and at times a book that just pulled on your heart strings.

My absolute favorite characters were little baby Jax who was the sweetest little baby ever!! My face lit up so big when the lil guy crawled for the first time!! I also loved Brant. Who was thrown into being a “Daddy” to Jax while his sister recovered from a car accident. I thought it was so cute how he had no clue how to raise a baby on his own. However, he was making it work. My heart just melted with scenes between the two of them together.

My heart went out to the Whylder family. It was bad enough that Mrs. Whylder was home suffering from a stroke she had but her daughter was now in the ER suffering from injuries from a DWI. Luckily, lil Jax was not with her.

I have to mention that the music they played at the wedding in the first scene were all the songs that I loved. Kudos to the author for picking out amazing wedding songs-especially Kelly Clarkson A Moment Like This!

Miracles We Have Seen America's Leading Physician's Share Stories They Can't Forget by Harley A. Rotbart, MD

First, I want to thank Harley A. Rotbart, MD., Health Communications, Inc and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Miracles We Have Seen by Harley A. Rotbart, MD was a very unique book that will touch your heart, educate you, blow you away with some of the stories, will show you what medical “miracles” look like and uplift you. All these stories in the book are true accounts from pediatricians, internists, surgeons, family medicine specialists, emergency medicine physicians, obstetricians, psychiatrists and sub-specialists.

Harley thanks 74 Doctors that contributed stories to this book. He also acknowledges a list of people whom helped him with everything to individual essays.

I absolutely loved this book, the medical stories, and the human patient care side of the stories as well. I found each story to be fascinating. I have two favorite stories that stuck out to me and touched me in one way or another.

The first one was An Unlikely Discovery by the Unlikeliest Person. This story was told in three different parts in three different perspectives. They were the Student, The Teacher, and The Surgeon. Ryan the student was working on a test patient Jim whom was to pretend he had an abdominal aortic aneurysm. In this section I was educate what exactly what this was. He played the part well or so Ryan thought. He made the diagnosis that this patent really did have one. The Teacher didn’t believe him at first but it turns out he was right. Ryan got high praise write up online and in the newspaper for it. In fact the links are In the bio. If Jim was not there that day this would have never been diagnosed and he could have died at home.

The other story that touched my heart was the Impossible Delivery. This one really pulled on my heart strings big time! Since New Year’s Eve Karen felt something strange with some light bleeding. She had not had her period in 5 years but had a history of uterine fibroid. In the past she had an uterine artery embolization. Unfortunately, this procedure made her infertile. Imagine their surprise when they found out they were 7 months pregnant!! However, she had placenta accrete. If you want to know what happened to the Mom and baby you will have go read the book.

Heaven's Doorstep Gods Help in Times of Crisis True Stories From A First Responder by Andrea Jo Rodgers

First, I want to thank Andrea Jo Rodgers, Harvest House Publishers, and NetGalley for providing me with this book.

On Heavens Doorstep by Andrea Jo Rodgers is a book that will stay with you well after you finish reading it. It is a book filled with true stories of people that experienced medical miracles. You get to read it from the patient side of things but also faith is intertwined in it as well. There are some incredible stories that will pull on your heart strings and even amaze you!

I loved how this book was dedicated to the memory of her niece whom put other needs before her own. It was also dedicated in loving memory of a dear friend and fellow first aid squad volunteer. She had great compassion, kindness, and courage.

In this book Andrea lists the Volunteer Members of the Pine Cove First Aid Squad names and occupations.

Silent Partner by Aline Savoy

First, I want to thank Alaine Savoy for providing me with this book so I may give you this review.

Alaine Savoy had me missing my sisters by the end of reading Silent Partner. I loved the bond that Allyson shared with her baby sister Piper. Each sister was completely different from one another. However, they were both great at something the other one wasn’t. That aspect complimented each other perfectly. They loved each other very much and only wanted the best for one another. They would do anything to make the other happy.

One of my favorite bonding moments was when Piper gave Allyson a drastic makeover! She got the haircut, color, makeup, new outfit, etc- and looked incredible!!! They did this when they were kids. Then later on Piper went on a shopping spree with Allyson’s credit card for sexy new undergarments for her sister. Allyson was getting a full head to toe makeover from her sister.

Oh, but this book was not all about sister bonding. Of course, there was a sexy son of the boss that made Allyson go week in the knees named Donavan. He was starting to take notice of her now that she went not to hot!

The World Through Wanderers' Eyes by Christopher Joseph Hicks

First, I want to thank Christopher Joseph Hicks for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Christopher Joseph Hicks whom wrote The World Through Wanderer’s Eyes is an incredibly gifted story teller. This book was unlike any other book I had ever read before. I was totally blown away and by a new author too. You could tell by his writing style that he was very passionate about his characters and the story-lines. The story-lines were very inspiring, motivating, and brought out many emotions in me while reading it.

This is a story of Gene who on his day off from driving wanted to see the sites of San Diego. So, he took an adventure that he would never forget on the city bus. He met some amazing people who shared some incredible stories that touched Gene in many different ways. They will also touch your heart in many ways as well.

Christopher goes into topics many don’t write about and that is what makes this book so different and so unique. Topics like what it is really like to be homelessness, second chances, lost loves, not giving up, divorce, and good Samaritans.

In between the story Christopher wrote beautiful poetry that coincided with where the story was going.

I have read many Dedications in my day but nothing as so genuine and from the heart as this one. Christopher’s Dedication was extremely beautiful in reference to his Grampa Herbert Gene Cain. Gene is the name of the main character in the book. Reading about him in his Dedication put a smile on my face and could see why he put him in his book. I also loved how he thanked Gayatri and how she introduced him to “The Alchemist.” This is mentioned in the book and Gayatri is mentioned several times. So much so that I want to read this book. She seems like an amazing woman to have this much effect on him.

This is a book that the characters will stay close to your heart well after you finish the book.
