What If An Exploration Into The Mind by Michael H. Miller was a very fascinating read. I was actually surprised as I don’t usually read books like this.
I really liked the cover and how the title What If was jumbled with other color words.

The Purity Ring Murders a Gil Ledug Mystery by Jim Toner was a very refreshing young adult mystery with a catholic vibe twist to it.
The black and white cover of the couple and how they were positioned on the cover caught my eye. The title and the way it was placed between the couple was perfect. Kudos to the Graphic Designer for the awesome cover.

For You I Fall (Angels and Misfits Book 1) by T.N. Nova and Colette Davison really took me by surprise on how much I enjoyed it. The reason I say it surprised me is that I am not a huge fan of paranormal persay. I knew there would be an aspect of this to the story. Knowing that I enjoy reading MM Romance Novels I decided to take a chance. I am glad that I did. The aspect of paranormal and romance was a very sweet story of Seth being human and Dante being his protector angel. Plus there was a hint of mystery to it as well. So, basically something for everyone.

First, I would like to thank NetGalley, Susan Halter and Hatco Publishing for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Date and Dash by Susan Halter pulled on my heart strings, made me tear up at times, and even made me laugh. There were some valuable life lessons thrown into the book as well.
I absolutely loved the relationship that Grammy and Mary Ann shared growing up. I loved how sentimental Grammy’s bracelet was to her. It touched me to what great lengths she would go to protect her Grammy’s memory.
Trevor was my favorite character in Date and Dash. He had a heart of gold, was selfless, patient, kind, attractive, and most of all saw past all of Mary Ann’s flaws.
I would highly suggest this book.

There were many aspects of The Day The Music Died An Emlyn Goode Mystery by Susan Lynn Solomon that I really enjoyed. First off the cover first attracted me to the book. The wording is done in a very unique font that is blood red! I loved the guitar, the hand holding the gun pointing to the guitar, and the adorable little kitty at the end. This cover totally caught my eye so much so I wanted to know what the book was about. Kudos to the graphic artist. Sometimes for me it is the cover that catches my eye. Pointe of Passion by Annalie Walker is the first book in her series Dancing Desires. Rhythm and Rapture is the second book in the series. I plan on reading that one as well.

Poor Little Daddy's Girl by Normandie Alleman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Thank you to NH Kuhn and Normandie Alleman for providing with an advanced copy of this book so I could bring you this review. Poor Little Daddies Girl by Normandine Alleman had me cracking up laughing at some of Charmaine’s and Hunter’s dialog. Who says, “Who peed in your Cheerio’s?” My favorite line was “You know you’re about as much fun as a colonoscopy with no drugs.” Charmaine is your typical wealthy, spoiled brat who gets into trouble and is only famous to be famous. She is lonely, on a destructive path, and dates all the wrong men for her. That is until Hunter a hunky firefighter rescues her from her apartment fire. The apartment is not the only thing that sparks a flame! I love how Normadie describes all the naughty scenes between the two characters. As they say firefighters find them hott and leave them wet! That is exactly what these two characters did! Poor Little Daddies Girl by Normadie Alleman gets 4 out of 5 hot steamy kisses from me.

David Bell does an amazing job grasping the reader’s full attention from the first page to this fantastically written mystery novel. There were so many twist, turns, and draw dropping speechless moments that I was on the edge of my seat for.
I loved the beginning of the book when Nick is at the grocery store and he thinks he sees his long lost late college sweetheart Marissa at the grocery store. We have all done that seen someone’s doppelganger. This was an odd coincidence that he would run into someone that looked exactly like her 20 years later. Odd thing is she seemed scared of him.

My heart melted during the Daddy and Son moments. Devin was a cute and sweet little boy. You could tell how much he loved his Daddy.

Cara Wade went out of her comfort zone in Ever After and boy did it pay off! Out of the many I have read for her this was my favorite. It was different, unique, sexy, had an incredible mystery story line to it as well.
Warning: this book has triggers of rape, kidnapping, sex trafficking. If this bothers you or offends you then I don’t suggest you read it.
I had to laugh when Cara mentions this book is for her. For being brave enough to write something completely different than she is used to.

Review: The Boy in the Barn By Ciana Stone
The Boy in the Barn by Ciana Stone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
First, I want to thank Ciana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Dang!! Boy in the Barn was the darkest books that Ciana Stone has ever written. I have been a huge fan of hers and knows that she writes in multiple genres (one reason she is one of my favorite authors). However, this one is unlike any of the other ones she has written before. I a very extremely open-minded reader but there were times when she shocked the heck out of me! I had to make sure this was a Ciana book. Yup, no hot cowboys in this one lol!
This book contains triggers so please keep this in mind when deciding to read Ciana’s book. The Boy in the Barn contains physical and sexual abuse, of torture and murder. It also deals with child abuse and sex trafficking. This book is not for the faint of heart.
From the first few pages I was totally shocked out of my mind. Then I thought oh how I wish this could have happened to one of my exes! But wow that must have hurt!!
There was one scene that was very prudish even for Ciana that I had to laugh like crazy! I can’t give it away! Let’s just say it involved anal sex.
I will admit I was not a fan of the cult or what happened in the cult. Some of the scenes were extremely graphic and my heart went out to those who were affected by it. I would definitely read from Ciana if she continues this path-but some scenes were little too much.
What I did love was the amazing love story in this book. Yes, she found away to get a love story in here.
If you have read her books in the past you know that she loves the Navy Seals. There is a storyline about this as well.

I will not think about it anymore. I won’t think about her. My lost little sister with her beautiful smile, her chestnut-coloured eyes. My sister who I couldn’t protect.
If you passed Alice on the street, you couldn’t help but smile. At how she holds hands with her husband, Jack, who she has been with since she was at university. At the way she admires her three boys, the centre of her universe.
But if you looked very closely, you’d see how tightly she holds Jack’s hand, afraid to let go. You’d see how carefully she watches her boys, scared to look away. You’d see her smile fading in a matter of seconds, and the pain she hides behind her eyes.
She has told Jack that she ran away from home when she was younger – but she didn’t tell him the whole story. Her husband doesn’t know about the guilt she bears about her little sister she failed to save.
Now, after a lifetime of fresh starts, Alice can feel her past playing catch-up. She is sure she is being watched, certain she is being followed. She may not be able to stop her secret coming out – but can she stop the world she has lovingly built collapsing in on her?
This utterly heartbreaking, beautifully written and gripping family drama examines just how far we are willing to go for our loved ones, and the desperate decisions we make when we have no other choice. Fans of Jodi Picoult, Kerry Fisher and Liane Moriarty will be blown away by this incredibly moving tale.
If you passed Alice on the street, you couldn’t help but smile. At how she holds hands with her husband, Jack, who she has been with since she was at university. At the way she admires her three boys, the centre of her universe.

When you see them, they are so happy, so in love. He’s holding the door open for her, she’s clearly expecting a baby. You think: she has everything I don’t. Everything I ever dreamed of…
There’s room in her house where Shelley has shut away a heartbreakingly-soft, never-used baby blanket. In a box, under a bed, behind a door that she never opens. If it’s there, she can forget about it. Just like she has her memories. Of a marriage that hadn’t been perfect. Of a life that didn’t go the way she had hoped.

Review: After Anna by Lisa Scottoline
After Anna by Lisa Scottoline
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
First, I want to thank Lisa Scottoline for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Lisa Scottoline is one of my favorite authors so it was a no brainier that when she came out with her Number 1 Best Seller After Anna that I just had to read the book. Lisa wrote one of her best books with one of the biggest twist plots you never in a million years saw coming just when you thought the book was going to end! I was speechless! She gave no clues that was going to happen whatsoever!
If you like you are the type of person who likes mysteries, thrillers, on the edge of your seat, twist and turns, reunited families, deaths, missing people, sexual abuse, murder, sex traffic ring, court case, etc then this book is definitely for you.
I would love to see this book on the big screen one day!

Review: When It Rains By T.K. Chapin
When it Rains by T.K. Chapin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
First, I want to thank TK Chapin for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
When It Rains by T.K. Chapin is a standalone book that is part of the Potter House Series of various authors. T.K. Chapin fans get your box of tissues ready because you will need it for the extremely powerful, moving and tearful ending he has in store for you. A bond between two people I did not see coming and the amazing thing he gave up for her. Just incredible and mind blowing to me.
