I am contacting you today because we are hosting a book award for indie books (self-published and through small independent publishers) judged by a large panel of book bloggers, called the Book Bloggers’ Novel of the Year Award, or BBNYA for short. We are currently open for submissions for the 2024 award and we thought you might be interested to enter one of your titles. Our goal with BBNYA is to give under-appreciated, lesser known indie authors a chance to make themselves known without being overshadowed by the big names while also showing the world the power of book bloggers! The winner and top finalists are determined over three rounds based on a 2k word excerpt, a 10k word excerpt, and the full novel respectively. Besides recognition and exposure, with large blog tours for all 15 finalists, BBNYA also has prizes in store for the top 65 books, including a cash prize for the first, second, and third place finalists! BBNYA is also running a cover competition this year with prizes for the author and cover designer of the winning book.
