When Pumpkins Daddy brings home two cute cuddly kitties she is delighted and starts to play with them like toy dolls. As you can imagine, Pumpkins kitties dont like being treated like toys and begin running away and hiding. After Pumpkin discovers she cant make her kitties play with her, she learns a lesson shell never forget.
Kirsten Girlinghouse
Kirsten Girlinghouse began illustrating children's books in 2018. Since then she has illustrated Bella's Bubbles and Butterflies, Pumpkin's Kitties, Zebi's Dream, and Grace's Missing Ball. She has illustrated personal pieces since 2007 and now hand draws pet portrait commissions on the side of her full time job at her local animal hospital as a Kennel Tech.
Kirsten grew up in a small southeast Texas town on a large farm. Due to her love of animals, she originally dreamed of being a veterinarian but learned she was better at drawing the animals. She studied animation at the Art Institute of Houston and lives in Texas with her daughter, husband, five dogs and two cats, one cat having cerebellar hypoplasia. Kirsten looks forward to writing and illustrating educational books on special needs animals and importance of veterinary care.
