Heidi Lynn's Book Reviews
First, I want to thank Best Selling Author Parker Kincade
for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Hot Seal, Bourbon Neat Seals in Paradise by Parker Kincade was
a really good book on many different levels. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book. I
knew I would like the romance aspect and the reunited lovers. However, However,
she made the SEAL story line extremely interesting to read.
I loved how Parker dedicated this book to her brother Dave.
She thanked him for having the patience of a saint when it came to asking him
all the questions about the military. She also dedicated to this book to the SEALS
in Paradise authors. She felt very humbled and honored to be among them.
I absolutely loved the name Asher that Parker chose for her
character. It is not a common name but these days you are hearing it more and
more.
I really loved the connection and the relationship between
Asher and Brooke. They had a connection from the past that was clearly strong when
they reconnected by fate. However, Brooke couldn’t get passed the part where he
up and left. Parker did an amazing job with these two characters building up
the sexual tension and their story line.
I loved reading about Asher’s family and how he grew up to
the man he was today. It showed a lot about himself and his character. Not to
mention we got to learn more about Gracie his sister and his Mom. Who were both
on the trip that they were on with Asher in the story. Asher was with them on
the trip to keep them safe.
Hot Seal, Bourbon Neat Seals had many stories within the
story that made it so unique. Many of the stories could pull on your heart
strings. Those stories proved that what didn’t
kill Asher in the past made him stronger now in the present.
