First, I want to thank Judith A. Yates, Wild Blue Press and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Bullied to Death? A Story of Bullying, Social Media, And the Suicide of Sherokee Harriman by Judith A. Yates is an incredibly powerful, eye opening book, of how hateful verbal bullying effects someone emotionally, self-esteam, mentally and eventually to the point of doing harm to themselves. This is a book EVERY Parent, Uncle, Aunt, Health Teachers, Social Workers must read to understand our youth today and help if we see bullying happen.

Kudos to Elijah Toten for the incredible book cover design. That is what originally drew me to the book itself. After seeing the tile of the book and the blurb I knew I had to read it. I am a huge fan of true crime books and this seemed like it was literally ripped from the headlines. Plus, as a middle schooler and high schooler I was bullied at school for being born differently. However, never in a million years would I think of ever doing what Sherokee did!

Review: It's All Your Fault by J.C. Lewin #NetGalley

#NetGalley
First, I want to thank J.C. Lewin, BE, and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

An Incredibly gripping debut novel from J.C. Lewin in All Your Fault! A book that had so many twists, turns and an ending you never saw coming! It is a book you will start and won’t want to put down til you see what happens to Teigan! Trust me on this one I was up til wee hours of the night reading this book!

This book tackles tough subjects like missing children, pedophile, murder, abduction, problems within social services, domestic abuse, suicide. For this reason, this book was emotional on many levels and you felt for so many of the characters.

There was an extremely interesting scene in the book with Monty explaining about his thoughts on Pedophilia.  Even though I don’t agree with it at all. He did have a point if you knew your child had the gene would you abort your child?

This is a story of every mother’s nightmare where their child goes missing. Where she goes to great lengths to find out what happens to her. However, she is one of the suspects in the case. Plus, she is a social worker with failed cases.

I loved the investigation aspect of the book. Trying to figure out what actually happened to Tiegan! I absolutely love books like this!

At the end of the book there is a chat with the author J. C. Lewin. She like Suzanne in the book is a social worker. However, she quit her job to be a writer as that was her dream!

In the chat with the author section she mentions that her favorite character was Monty. You can totally tell that she put her heart and soul into this character. I can agree with her that there is a challenge to the reader and their preconceptions. Monty seems like a monster at first. But you have to dig deeper into him and his character. His end fate is sad though.

This is an AMAZING book by an incredible author! This is a must-read book for those who like very gripping suspenseful books! You will be biting your nails and on the edge of your seat with this one.  Plus, hugging your loved ones a little closer!

Review of Loyal as Hell Grey Areas Book 4 by Shelby Durgan

#CandidBookReviews
First, I want to thank Shelby Durgan for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

I was so happy when I found out Shelby Durgan was coming out with her long awaited squeal to her series featuring Amara and Grey that I have grown to love. This book is entitled Loyal as Hell Grey Areas. Her books must be read in sequence and not as standalones. It is very important to know the characters and the storylines or you will be lost!!

As with each of Shelby’s books Grey and Amara have some hot and steamy sex scenes in this book. She is well known for turning up the heat!!

In this book 6 months after the marriage of Grey and Amara we the readers and Amara get to meet his parents. It is an awkward situation how she meets them. In the long run Amara and I agree we don’t care for Grey’s Mother.

In this book we see the return of Amara’s sister with very happy news of her own to share.
There is a very scary scene at the school where Amara works at. One where it can be taken from the headlines in the news and intertwined in the book. I was very scared for Amara and Grey whom was also there. The language in this scene was a little rough. But it was necessary for the scene.

Review: Ambitious Deception Book Three in Ambition Serial by Kassandra Klay

First, I want to thank Kassandra Klay for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Ambitious Deception is Book Three in the Ambition Serial of Kassandra Klay! This is the book we have all been waiting for!! Who gets the promotion? Will it be Alex (who totally deserves it) or the stalker Nick?! This is a DRAMA and emotion filled packed book!! You wont want to put down!!

I absolutely love how Kassandra named her real life bestie Charity in the book as Alex’s bestie! That was awesome of her to do!! Charity must have been so honored!!

As each book leaves you with a cliffhanger this book starts off with drama!! But with this drama we get an inside look at both Alex’s and Kreeds family and life.

Review: Ambitious Despair Book Two of The Ambition Serial by Kassandra Klay

First, I want to thank Kassandra Klay for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Ambitious Despair is Book Two in the Ambition Serial of Kassandra Klay! An author and series that is becoming one of my favorite series I have read. If you have not read her first book you must!!! You will instantly fall in love with Alexandria and omg dreamy Kreed!! I hope you will agree with me that Nick is shady, creepy, and just frustrating!!!

I have a strong dislike for Nick in this book. He is stalkerish, wont stop until he gets what he wants, is abusive verbally and physically, and just vulgar. He crossed the line with me in this book!! My heart went out to Alex with what she went through. Nobody let alone a co-worker should be put through this! Especially after something as stupid as this!!

I am so thankful that Alex has an amazing BFF in Charity whom also is a Lawyer. She was able to give her some good advice.

In this book we are introduced to a new character called Talon Claymore someone Alex met in college. They became friends before they became lovers. He was her first love. Now Kreed is her second love.

Note to readers: never mix pain killers and muscle relaxers together! You will have an interesting evening as Alex found out. You will also say things you shouldn’t say!

Kassandra sure knows how to write amazing sex scenes!

These books in the series are short fast reads that leave you wanting more! I cant wait to read and review the next book in the series for you!
