First, I want to thank Steena Holmes, Bookouture and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review. 

OMG!! Steena Holmes She Took My Baby is so twisted it will have everyone talking!! Seriously, Steena is a brilliant creative genius writing this one. This is my first time reading anything of hers and I would read/review from her again. This storyline was so totally out of the box to anything that I have read prior…and if you know me you know my obsession with psychological thrillers!! If I were you I would add it to my TBR list for the new year! You can thank me later. 

WOW!! Steena captured my interest fast as I felt like I was reading a scene from a movie. The prologue was incredibly emotionally intense! From then on it was fast paced, intense, gripping, shocking, twisted, totally addicting, a bingeworthy clear your calendar read.

I wanted to jump into the book and give these Doctors a piece of my mind!!! They were obviously lying to her about her babies! The question is why were they? While I was in the book I wanted to console her too. What she was going through was a nightmare!! 

I loved this in the beginning of the book when Steena said to all those who hold secrets close to their hearts, remember this: Secrets that destroy can also be refined. Choose your secrets, and choose them wisely. That was so true for this story!

I love how Steena keeps the readers in mind when writing every book she writes. However, I love how she has one special reader in mind who has been with her from Finding Emma to now (and yet this is my first book I am reading from her..I need to catch up) and that is Sherri Gall. She is always honest about her thoughts about her books. 

Congrats to Steena who will soon be a grandma for the first time right around the time this book is released!

I lost my beautiful mom to colon cancer in 2022. She fought an almost decade-long battle with it, which was nearly half of my life. I watched her fight with a fierceness that could rival a lion. Her strength carried her for ten wonderful years, which my entire family and I were tremendously blessed with.

When she passed away, though, everything changed for me. I realized life was not guaranteed. I began to see how I had been exchanging my time for a steady income and a safe career. However, when I looked back at how my mom lived, I saw how she was most alive and fulfilled when helping others. When she sacrificed her wants and desires and supported someone else, she would beam brighter than the sun. It was apparent her job wasn’t what filled her with purpose. It was participating in the heart of God – Abba, which is goodness, kindness, selflessness, and love. 

At the end of 2022, I decided to learn from how my mom lived and pursue what filled me with purpose: writing. I write stories and compose songs that bring my novels to life and, on a grand scale, move people, share my heart, and relate to others.

First I want to thank Britian Bell, Candor Publishing Group and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I can bring you this book. 

WOW!!! Britian Bell is a creative genius for creating this powerful outside the box story She Saved Me. This is a book that will tug hard on your heart strings and pull them in so many directions it's not funny. But heads up you may want some tissues on hand (I admit I teared up). This is a fast paced totally addicting keep you on your toes type book. Once I started the book I could not keep my eyes off of it. 

I appreciated that Britian openly addressed the trigger warnings in his book before starting his story. Very few do let their readers know and I think that is important. So, thank you Britian. In She Saved Me this story contains attempted suicide, moderate abrasive language, and terminal illness. 

Britian dedicates this novel to anyone who is struggling with loneliness. 

Never had I heard of Britian Bell until NetGalley introduced me to him and his writing. I loved the description of the book and the cover design by Edgel Barrientos drew me in. It seemed unique and different from the other stories out there and that is one thing that drew me to it. I also liked the age gap and wondered how the save me part played into it. I am extremely glad that I took a chance on Britian because I ended up falling in love with the storyline, the characters, and now I am a huge fan of the author himself. I would love to read more of his work and hear his music. 

I absolutely loved that Drazik had a passion for painting and made videos of himself painting. The long hair was a nice feature he had as well. I could see why Cali, Emily and the other ladies were smitten with him. 

Britian thought of the coolest names for his characters in the book. I had never ever heard of the name Drazik or Pneuma before. 

I absolutely loved Drazik and Cali’s story! Loved how they met, how it was kind of taboo so to speak, and to see their relationship blossom! It was one of the sweetest and uniquest love stories around. It put a smile on my face and love in my heart. 

She Saved Me had so many layers and so many storylines. Just when I thought the book was ending Britian did a 180 and flipped the switch and left me speechless!!! Never did I see that coming and I literally started ugly crying and yelling at my Kindle! Yes!! I was truly invested in these characters at this point! 

Britian addresses multiple life lessons and so many important topics in this book. 

They always say write what you know or what you are passionate about. The character lost his Mom and his best friend to colon cancer. He is mourning her loss. Britian sadly knew all too well about that pain as his Mom went through the same. My heart breaks for both of them as I just lost my Dad a year ago and he was my best friend. Many of the scenes were emotionally hard to read.

Britian you can tell he is passionate about his characters you can tell he writes from his heart and it shows. She Saved Me is beautifully well written that everyone will be talking about. This book deserves more than 5 stars!!! It is a must read for 2026!!

First, I want to thank Boldwood Books and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I could bring you this review. 

WOW!! It has been a while since I had read a Louise Guy book and figured it was way overdue to read another one. A girl can only read so many psychological thrillers before she goes a little batty-ya know. However, I remembered Louise’s books were emotional but dang The Girl With Nowhere To Go pulled hard on my heart strings and had me in tears multiple times. A select few authors pull out that emotion in me and she is now on that list. 

The graphic artists that designed the book cover did a beautiful job on the cover of the book. 

Louise, you really know how to pull on my heart strings in your prologue!!! I was ready to jump into the book and give Jodi and big ol hug!!! Seriously!! One minute updating her will and the next minute we are hit with the news that she has Stage IV triple-negative breast cancer that has already spread to her liver and bones!! Here we are just meeting this character and we get this mind blowing uttering news!!! I was just speechless. What an incredible hook into your book!! 

I enjoyed reading about the art therapy classes as I totally agree that it can help process pain, rebuild confidence and reclaim parts of them that were lost. I know that painting has been a very therapeutic outlet for me since my Dad has passed. 

Louise intertwined so many powerful topics, issues and messages in this that many readers will gravitate towards. It is a beautifully written book with a lot of heart to it.
