One Missing Girl by Kristi Belcamino

THREE COUPLES. THREE DAUGHTERS. ONE MISSING GIRL.

My husband and I are hosting a party this evening — just for the

adults. Our daughters are all leaving for college. We’ve raised them

together , watched them grow up together , and now we’re drinking

champagne beneath the fairy lights, pretending we’re ready to let them

go.

Kate is mine. Brilliant. Funny . The kind of girl who lights up every room

she walks into.

Lily has been her best friend since kindergarten. Shy , anxious, always

half a step behind her .

And finally there’s Julia. Beautiful, loyal — and fearless.

I never thought I’d get a life like this. Not with a past like mine. But here

I am, with a husband who adores me and friends who’ve become

family . We drink, we dance. I go to bed happy .

By morning one of the girls is missing.

Mine.

I thought I knew these people. My husband. My oldest friends. Their

daughters.Someone among us is lying about that night. But they’ve made a

terrible mistake. They don’t know what I’m capable of. Not yet.

One Missing Girl

Written By Kristi Belcamino

Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Kristi Belcamino, Joffe Books and Zooloo Book Tours for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

Dang! Kristi Belcamino wrote a wickedly twisted thought outside of the box storyline in One Missing Girl. It is so incredibly different from anything out there. It is a breath of fresh air. It was addictive, fast paced, suspenseful, full of secrets, and so much more.

Loved how Kristi says how she writes the way Stephen King does-what scares him!! Interesting to find out that she was a newspaper crime beat reporter and the scary things that kept her up all night landed in her books.

As the title suggests One Missing Girl is just that! Kate is missing and her parents are frantically looking for answers to where she could be.

To me I thought the boyfriend seemed like a very shady character and wondered if he had anything to do with her disappearance.

The Mom seemed like she had a troubled past as well with her family. We get a glimpse of this as her backstory is told as well.
