OMG!!! You must put Eight Years of Lies by Lisa Hall on your must read TBR list!! It is a book that everyone will be talking about after they read this!! She put a totally different spin on a missing person case that blew my mind!!
Nick Castle needs to be commended for his creative cover art for this book Eight Years of Lies! It was spot on perfect for this story and eye catching. I loved it.
My heart leapt out of my chest just as Claire’s did when she saw a picture of her daughter and her husband on Facebook. However, it was posted by another woman claiming to be his wife and looking for them. At this point in the book I was yelling and screaming at my Kindle. So many questions were going through my head.
My heart broke each time Isla asked when her Daddy was going to come home.
Lisa Hall is a genius storyteller. She makes you think you know how the story is going to pan out but bam she throws you a wicked twist after twist! Each bigger than the next. The last one was an omg! I have no idea why I have never read her work before now. However, that will change because I have become a fan of hers.
This book was jam packed with deep dark secrets, lies, betrayals, heartbreaks, jaw dropping revelations, and an ending you won’t see coming.
I felt like this book didn't fully capture my full attention until the middle of the book. However when it did I found it to be fast paced and addicting.
