Years ago, Kelly McIntyre couldn’t see her life getting any sweeter. She was engaged and dreaming of opening a restaurant with her fiancé, Andrew York. But to her utter surprise, Andrew chose to take an opportunity to study in Paris—alone—and their courtship came to an abrupt end. Life had other plans for Kelly. Now she’s the owner of an adorable potbellied pig named Gray who keeps her company on those cold nights, and she also runs her own bakery. Business is good—so good that she’s invited to compete in a Valentine’s Day baking competition in New York. As she prepares for the contest, she’s feeling confident. Until she hears that Andrew is back in town. The last thing either of them needs is to stir up old feelings. But little do they know that they might be stirring more than their feelings when they face off at the competition… Will they agree on the secret ingredient to happiness? Or will they get more than they bargained

The Secret Ingredient

Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Nancy Naigle and Harpeth Road Press for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Ohh The Secret Ingredient by Nancy Naigle was a super cute read! This book will put a smile on your face and love in your heart! Ironically enough It doesn’t just read like a Hallmark Channel Movie this book was made into a movie! I have not yet seen it but after reading the book I really want to!

There were so many things about this book that I adored! The small town setting of the book was so cute! I could see myself living there. I loved the second chance love story that was full of ups and downs and twists and turns to the storyline.

I absolutely love how they both went and pursued their passions and made a name for themselves. However, I was not a fan of the original break up! But loved the reunion with everyone.

If you have a sweet tooth this book is definitely for you. As a treat in the back of the book Nancy gives us two of her recipes.

One thing that I thought was original was she had a mini pet pig named Gray. When you hear why she named him this you will be laughing hysterically.

This is a cute fun read that can be devoured in one day.
