From the bestselling author of The Secret Mother, a chilling tale about revisiting the past—and digging up secrets you’d rather forget.

The invitation to her school reunion couldn’t have come at a better time for Chloe Flynn. Divorced, broke and bored at work, she’s living a life her teenage self would hate. Turning the clock back fifteen years might be just what she needs to wipe the slate clean and start again. And then there’s the chance she’ll bump into Nathan Blake, the one she still regrets letting get away…

Back at her elite private school, Chloe sparkles as she reunites with old friends and long-forgotten love interests. And then, just as she’d hoped, there’s Nathan, more handsome than ever before. Even better, he’s single too, and seems to be just as keen to make up for lost time…

But as the evening progresses, Chloe can’t help feeling that something’s not quite right—that she’s not the only one who’s come here for more than just a party. When the secrets of the past start to emerge and the reunion takes a sinister turn, it’s clear that nothing is what it seems—and nothing will be the same again.

The School Reunion
Written By Shalini Boland
Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Shalini Boland, Thomas and Mercer and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

Ohh how I love a good psychological thriller from Shalini Boland!! Her latest one The School Reunion is one of my favorite books of hers. I found that The School Reunion had a little bit of everything that a reader would enjoy in a book.

I loved the school reunion storyline as I felt as if I could relate to the main character. I too am having my school reunion this summer and can totally understand all of her anxieties and hesitation. Losing a few pounds, should I grow my hair long or keep it short, are all things I ponder. Ohh and like her I would love to see all my crushes and where they are now.

The mother daughter bond in this book was an interesting one. I had to crack up laughing that she only had a Facebook account so her Mom could check up on her life. However, she wasn’t on it that much. I found it funny because my Mom unfriended me on Facebook for being too open!

Speaking of Facebook I did like the messaging back and forth between the classmates!

There were definitely some characters I did not care for at all! Ohh Christopher was way too needy and obsessive! He wouldn’t take no for an answer!

Shalini threw some wicked secrets, twists, turns and omg my mind was blown with the shocking climax! This is a must read book! Put it on the top of your TBR pile!!!
