The Woman in Me is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.
Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Finally we get to hear/read Britney Spears' truth in her memoir The Woman In Me! Oh if you know me you know I needed to put this book on top of my TBR pile! Infact, as soon as I got it I had to devour it! Needless to say I have been a huge fan of hers forever and was super excited to read this book!
Before I begin this review I am letting it be known I am #TeamBritney. We the readers get to hear her truth behind the stories we read in the headlines. Many times I felt her pain or understood why she did what she did. If I was put in her shoes I would have felt the same way.
Not only am I a Britney Spears fan but I am a huge NSYNC fan. I grew up watching Britney, Justin and JC all on The Mickey Mouse Club. However, as I stated earlier I am #TeamBritney. My opinions of him from just what I read in this book are not so favorable! There is one event that I wanted to swoop in and give Britney a huge hug! What he made her do and put her through is unimaginable! I was literally tearing up at this section of the book.
Another section of the book that I was very interested to read was about her conservatorship! How did it start, what did it entail, how did she cope with it? She answers all that and more in this book!
Many may not agree with me but I think Britney is incredibly brave to open up her heart and let us all in. She has been put through the wringer emotionally and physically and has come out stronger!
