Q: Were there any moments that surprised you from the Denver signing?
I was so surprised and thankful to get to meet so many of my favorite authors! Often at these signings, we stay incredibly busy and don't get a lot of time to mingle, but I had a lot of fun meeting authors like Danielle Girard, Jess Lourey, Lee Goldberg, Robert Dugoni, Lucinda Berry, Rachel Howzell Hall, Lisa Renee Jones, and more! On top of that, you guys always surprise me when you travel and take time out of your busy lives to come and meet me. Signings are so good for my heart and they really remind me why I do this!
Q: Spaghetti, Lasagna, Pizza... best fresh or next day? Hot or cold?
Fresh, for sure! Though I do like cold pizza, the rest has to be hot and fresh!
Q: Do you have any advice for people who would like to recommend your books to a younger audience?
Yeah, definitely! I have several books that work for younger readers, though I always recommend parents read them first to make the final decision. The Missing Piece, Widow Falls, The Dream Job, The Lucky Ones, The Liar's Wife, If You're Reading This..., and A Quiet Retreat are generally safe for all readers 12-14+. Becoming Mrs. Abbott, The List, The Mother-in-Law, The Perfect Getaway, The Roommate, Our Little Secret, The Reunion, Missing Daughter, Tell Me the Truth, and The Dinner Guests are what I would call safe for 16+, and the rest are 18+. Of course, it is dependent on your comfort level as well as your child's!
