Oh WOW!! Kelly Golden out of the blue shocked me by pulling on many of my heart strings with The Perfect Girl. Now I had never read anything from her before so I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.
I have to be honest and say that the book started off a little slow for me. However, what first caught my attention was sweet Arla! Oh that girl pulled on my heartstrings big time! She was so adorable!! I loved all the cute scenes she was in. Infact, she was one of the aspects of the book that hooked me right away. Not to mention I thought it was a very unique name.
There were two other storylines that really pulled on my heartstrings: the loss of the mother and the infertility issues. Seeing how great Sophie was with Arla and her own personal situation just literally killed me!
