Heidi Lynn’s Book Review

First, I want to thank James Patterson, Matt Eversmann, Hachette Book Group and Grand Central Publishing for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review!

James Patterson and Matt Eversmann’s latest E.R. Nurses Walk My Rounds With Me was just the book I was craving!! If you follow my reviews you know that I am passionate about the medical field so it was a no brainer that I had to read this. Being Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant and a patient I could totally appreciate all these stories.

The Graphic Designer who designed James Patterson and Matt Eversmann’s cover sure knew how to get my attention with the action shot, the colors used and the lettering! I knew I had to read it.

This book is a book compiled beautifully written stories from nurses that will pull hard on your heart strings and educate you. These nurses will show you not just tell you how compassionate and empathetic they are to all of their patients. I found each of their stories incredibly fascinating. A few I actually found comical but then again so did the nurse.

Before each story James had a little bio of the nurse telling the story. Not only that but to personalize the stories even more they posted pictures of the nurses. It was nice to put a face to a story.

What I really enjoyed reading was the raw and emotional stories of how the nurses dealt with every aspect of Covid. We all have heard what the media has told us but not personalized stories quite like these.

Anyone who enjoys any of the medical drama shows or wants an inside behind the scenes look into the medical field must check this book out! It is a 5 star must read!
