Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews
First, I want to thank Cathryn Grant, Inkubator Books and Zooloo Book Tours for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Cathryn Grant boy oh boy your story may have been a slow burn but dang you set off fireworks at the end. WOW!! The deep dark secrets that were revealed in The Favorite Child were just crazy good!! Nowhere did I see any of that coming whatsoever.
These characters in this book annoyed me to no end and tested my patience!! The family’s sweet daughter/sibling went missing and nobody but Annie cared. They were all so cold and heartless and totally rubbed me the wrong way! Many times I felt they dragged some of that storyline out and got so frustrated they started yelling at my kindle!
Needless to say I was team Annie from the beginning and my heart just ached for all her family was putting her through. All she wanted was to find out the truth! Oh and that truth was totally messed up!!
