Caroline Finnerty is an Irish author of heart-wrenching family dramas and has published four novels and compiled a non-fiction charity anthology. She has been shortlisted for several short-story awards and lives in County Kildare with herhusband and four young children. WOW!! Just WOW!! What a way to start off a book!!! MAN OH MAN my heart leapt out of my chest with this one! I literally felt like I was there watching everything unfold!! I knew right there and then that I was hooked line and sinker into the story and wouldn’t be able to put my Kindle down!
Oh how could you not fall in love with sweet Milly in A Mother’s Secret! She was the cutest and sweetest little girl ever! I loved how Caroline made her dialogue like a little girl would speak. My heart ached for her for so many different reasons. I wanted to hop inside the book and just give her a big hug!
I absolutely loved how this book seemed to have a little bit of everything such as important topics, mystery, suspense, secrets, drama, and heartbreak.
