Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews
First, I want to thank Gemma Rogers, Boldwood Books and Rachael’s Random Resources for providing me with this book so I may bring you with this review.
WOW!!! WOW!! WOW!! Every Mother’s worst nightmare comes true in Gemma Roger’s The Babysitter. You think you can trust your babysitter but can you really? If you love missing person cases like I do you must put this on your TBR list. However, this is unlike any other missing person case book you will ever read. The story is so twisted but oh so good!! I absolutely loved it.
I really appreciated how Gemma in her Author Note gave us some background on the characters so we would have a better feel for the story.
Oh Gemma grabbed me and just sucked me into this intense storyline right off the bat! She put a lot of detail into that scene. Along with Brooke I too was yelling at my Kindle where is Eden?!
My heart went out to Eden’s parent’s. How do you tell someone that their daughter is missing?! It just pulled on my heart strings big time.
Eden was the one who captured my heart in all of this. She is so cute and didn’t deserve any of this.
The backstory of how Brooke and Ali met made for an interesting read.
The Babysitter was twisted, suspenseful, shocking, lots of twists and turns, and will make you rethink who you leave your child with.
