When my husband found this perfect little cabin in the woods for our honeymoon, I couldn’t wait to get away. Just us in the middle of the forest, waking up every day in the trees, ending each night in the hot tub under the stars. But now I’m not sure that I know my husband at all…
I just wish we’d gone to the police when someone left a note on the doormat saying: She’s dead, you’re next. Ryan said I was overreacting, but I don’t understand why he won’t go to the cops now things are getting worse. Can I trust my husband?
I’ve known about the terrible thing that Ryan did for years and it’s been tearing me apart. Last night I told him I would always keep his secret. But is the man I married hiding something else from me?
Now someone has cut the phone lines and we’re trapped here. Ryan swears he has no idea what’s going on and just wants to keep us safe. I’m here alone in the middle of the dark forest with the man I thought I could trust. My heart is racing and there’s no one I can call…
My husband promised till death do us part. Am I about to find out what that means?

This answer is different depending on which book we're talking about, but the short answer is that my inspiration comes from all over. I've had the initial spark for my stories come from a book I've loved, movie I've watched, song I've listened to, conversation I've overheard, vacation I've taken, an even just a random, what-if question that popped into my head.
Once I have that inspiration, I let that idea sit in my head for a while, play with a few possibilities, get to know the characters who would best tell the story, and go from there.
My mind never really rests. I'm always plotting and searching for inspiration.
I'm very grateful that my inspiration-well never seems to run dry.

WOW!!! If you have logged on to Facebook’s Psychological Thrillers forums lately, most likely you have heard many readers rave about Kiersten Modglin. Everyone can’t say enough amazing things about her writing, her incredibly fast paced stories, and shocking climaxes. Each member of the forum was rushing out to buy multiple books she has written!! I am a huge fan of this genre so you know I had to check out one of her latest! OH YES!!! They were so right!!! Just Married, one of her latest books is oh so good!!! She just gained a new fan that will definitely be reading more of her!
Kiersten would like to dedicate this book to her husband, for never minding too much when I turn our beautiful vacations into stories you can’t read in the dark.
In my eyes one good sign of a good Psychological Thriller author is if they can instantly draw your attention deeply into the book. Kiersten did a fantastic job of this.
The description of the cabin that the couple stayed in seemed beautiful and a perfect romantic getaway.
Secrets were being kept between this couple. One was incredibly tragic and my heart went out to all those involved.
There were some scenes I cracked up laughing at because it was something you would see in a comedy movie. However, not so funny if you were living it in real life!
Just Married’s climactic scenes were incredibly fast paced and adventurous. You will definitely be on the edge of your seat hoping for the best outcome!
Kiersten has an incredible gift for writing in this genre! I can now understand why many are praising her left and right!
