In 2012, Deborah had everything. A beautiful baby daughter, a wonderful life in New York with her loving husband, and a much-wanted pregnancy of twin boys. Within hours of their birth, her world collapsed when she was told that both babies were profoundly deaf. As she fights for the future of her sons, Deborah finds a strength she never knew existed. Exhausted, drained, challenged, but never broken, this is her story . . . a story to inspire any woman who knows what it is to fight. In her incredible memoir, Deborah shares the lessons she learned and the strategies she used to save her children – and herself.

Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Deborah Pezzuto and Random Things Tours for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Deborah Pezzuto is incredibly brave to open her heart and share her story in Listen. It is a beautifully written story that took you on her journey to becoming a Mom.

This book made me smile and tugged on my heart strings numerous times.

This book is dedicated to Deborah’s Papa her Babbo. Family is what you make with love – your blood runs through your grandchildren no matter what, and you will never be forgotten.

Deborah made my heart happy reading how much she was looking forward to birthing her twin boys and having a full family. The joy she had made me smile ear to ear.

Listen gives readers lots of great words of wisdom from Deborah’s family members.

Deborah lets us into her world and shares her past with us.

I can definitely feel her pain and feel compassion for her as I too suffer from disabling migraines. Luckily for her hers went away with facial surgery she had to fix her palate.

I loved the story of how Deborah and Alessandro met, fell in love and got married. Seriously, I can’t believe they asked what number marriage it was for them.

Deborah had an incredible passion to start a family and become a Mom. I commend her for everything she went through to achieve her goal.

My heart was so happy when she got the call about her new little girl that she named Keisha. I love that name and the meaning behind it.

What I found interesting is the meaning behind Dylan and Zack. Both two of my favorite boys' names as they are so unique. I was excited for both Deborah and Alessandro for their exciting news of twins!

The flower analogy was beautiful and can now see why it is the cover design. It is so perfect.

I can agree with Deborah that learning Medical Terminology is like learning a new language all together. It takes practice and work to learn all of them. Not to mention the spelling and pronunciation.

Zack and Dylan are amazing boys who have come along way from where they started.
