Emily and Jake are the perfect couple. Or so everyone says. But Emily just read a letter that has shattered her perfect world. Now she only has one thing on her mind… which one of her friends is sleeping with her husband?

Emily watches Jake as he makes small talk with their children, still the perfect man she married years ago. But when the phone rings and he answers before quickly putting it down again, she sees the look on her husband’s face – guilt. She knows the signs – after all, she’s been lying to him for years.

Working with Jake at the local doctor’s surgery, Emily starts to listen at closed doors and read things she shouldn’t, hoping to find the truth about her husband. Soon she learns that hers isn’t the only family telling lies to each other. Is there anyone Emily can trust? And who is behind the letter to Jake?

When a second letter, revealing a wife’s hidden pregnancy, is sent to the woman’s husband, it has disastrous consequences. And as more angry letters revealing people’s biggest secrets begin to appear, fingers point at Emily. After all, she’s the one with access to everyone’s private history, and she’s the one with a score to settle. Emily says she didn’t do it. But this isn’t the first time Emily has lied. What happens next will have you questioning everything…

You might have already decided that Emily is guilty, but as each twist is revealed, you’ll begin to doubt everyone in this quiet little town. This is a psychological thriller that will keep you up all night!

Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Sheryl Browne, Bookouture and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

Trust Me you must put this book by Sheryl Browne on your TBR Must Read list!!! It is an incredibly fast paced intense read that you-just-can-not-put-down! This is one of Sheryl’s written books that I have read!

Sheryl wants to dedicate Trust Me to Theresa.  She wants you to stay safe in the embrace of those who love you. Until we can dance together again.

Some readers may be interested to know there are triggers in the book. Violence and the sensitive subject of Abortion and attempted suicide is brought up. If these offend you or upset you this book may not be for you.

Oh snap what a way to start off a book!!! Jump right smack dab in the middle of some major drama brewing between a couple!! Oh this scene is crazy good and juicy!! Something out of a prime time drama that everyone gossips about on social media the next day! You could just tell from reading that prologue that this was going to be a bestseller!

Sheryl does a little something different with this book and puts a paranormal twist on the book. Even though that is not my preferred genre it really worked well in this book. It was an interesting twist to the story.

If you know me you know I love the medical sub genre as well. I find the field fascinating and the authors always educate their readers. This time Sheryl brings awareness to giant cell arteritis, a known development of polymyalgia rheumatica.

Sheryl keeps us on our toes with this one! There are tragic deaths, a lot of jealousy, suspense, pain, heartache, secrets, oh so many lies, shocking moments, twists and turns.

There were some comical moments when Millie realized her first time wouldn’t be all roses and fairytales like she hoped it would be.

Trust in my eyes is something that should be earned not given. Trust Me is the perfect title for the book for the lack thereof.

Damm now that was an ending I never saw coming!! It was as good if not as more powerful than the prologue. Truly one of the best endings I have read!
