You and your kids will love giggling together before bed as your roles take a fun reversal in How to Get a Daddy to Sleep by Amy Parker.
What if kids were in charge of bedtime? Written from a child's point of view, this picture book follows a little girl as she and her daddy have a spectacular and exhausting day together. When bedtime rolls around, Daddy will have no problem getting to sleep!
Daddy is a gift from God;
He never takes a break!
I'll show you how to help him rest--
No matter what it takes!
This delightful and colorful bedtime story celebrates a father's role in a child's day while commiserating with his nightly pursuit of sleep when an energetic child withstands all bedtime strategies.

First, I want to thank Amy Parker, Tommy Nelson, and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
How To Get A Daddy To Sleep is by Amy Parkeris a definite must read for all the Daddy’s and their young Daughters. I was all smiles as Amy drew on your heart strings with the beautiful bond this father and daughter shared.
Amy made a great choice picking Natalia for her Illustrator on this book. Her graphics were very colorful, fun, coloring book-like, and most of all the scenes played well with what Amy was writing. With what Amy wrote and Natalia drew the two of them pulled on my heart strings and made me feel the love. You could tell that the characters in the book meant a lot to them.
I thought it was refreshing and sweet at the end of the book that there was a prayer. You don’t see many children’s books let alone adult books with prayers in them these days. It was a nice change.
I hope Amy and Natalia continue to work on other projects together as they both are very talented.
