First, I want to thank T.K. Chapin for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Having been a fan of T.K. Chapin’s work for sometime now his latest book One Chance at Forever is a must read book. It is a book that will educate you in more ways than one about faith and a different culture. T.K. Also finds a way to pull on your heart strings a few times in this book. It is one of his more powerful books that he has written.
T.K. Dedicates this book to the ones that seek the truth. For you are the ones who will truly find God when you look for him.
As always with T.K.’s books he includes his faith and scripture into each of his books. This one included. One Chance at Forever has in my opinion more faith based content than most of his books. It is what makes it a much more powerful read.
Right from the beginning T.K. Pulled on my heart strings In many ways I could relate to the main character Wyatt. He is a writer that writes to forget his emotional pain that he is going through of losing his wife. I read so much to escape reality from my physical chronic pain that I suffer from.
I had to laugh because like Wyatt when asked if I have plans I am always saying I too am in the middle of the book.
My heart ached for the tragic loss of Wyatt’s wife and how it happened. So many feels as if she was doing what she loved-but it came with a price.
What I did love about that storyline was T.K. Educated his readers on Somalian culture and missionary trips.
There was one part of the book that was very suspenseful and fast paced that had you at the edge of your seat. It was a very exciting scene to read and totally different vibe than we fans are used to reading from him.
As T.K. Knows I am a fan of Mystery books as well. So, I thought it was comical when I read that Wyatt wanted to give his readers a little mystery in his next book.
Little Kingsley held a special place in my heart as she was adorable in this book.
I appreciated how T.K. Thanked his early readers for helping him along the way.
