When Fran meets Ollie, it’s eye roll at first sight. Who does he think he is – with his Ray-Bans, piss taking and artfully styled hair? Stephie was born in England in the mid 1980s, which makes her thirty-something (but if you ask, she’ll probably tell you she’s 27). Now, she lives on the South coast of the UK, has a day job to keep her holiday budget topped up, and two kids and a husband to keep an eye on.

First, I want to thank Stephie Chapman, Hera Books, BOTBSPublicity and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

Swipe Right by Stephie Chapman is a fun light read that will make you smile and laugh out loud at times. It is a perfect book to escape from reality of all the seriousness in the world right now. 

This book is for anyone who has looked at their best friend and realised, oh, hey, it’s you.

Originally the cute fun and cartoonish cover caught my eye. Not to mention the name of the book the whole thing just screamed fun read. Kudos to the graphic designer.

For the first part of the book I was trying to figure out why it was called Swipe Right. The title for the first part of the book didn’t seem to fit. However, the turning point of the book it did. Then at the end was the real eye opener when it all fell into place. I had an ah ha moment. 

Seems like every book has a character I don't care for. This book was Lucus! Oh he rubbed me the wrong way on so many levels. I could not understand what Lydia saw in him! Everyone could tell he didn’t treat her right-except for her. 

In swipe right I loved seeing how the Lydia and Ollie developed as characters as the story evolved. 

One thing that Stephie revealed at the end of the story was her friendships with her best friends through conversations on social media apps were woven strands into this story.
