”YOUR HUSBAND ISN’T WHO HE SAYS HE IS” Natali Simmonds freaked the heck out of me in the first chapter of My Husband’s Stalker!! WOWZERS!! What a way to start her latest Psychological Thriller!! This was a fast paced, addicting, and twisted read!

I am a fan of both Psychological Thrillers and Emotional Reads. With Natali’s storylines I was able to get the best of both worlds. Natali pulled hard multiple times with the interaction of Freya and her father who seemed to have memory issues.  What made me tear up was hearing Belle’s story and what she meant to Freya. That whole scene was from a Hallmark Movie.

What I thought was comical is between all this stalker drama Freya and Dan were able to have some hot steamy moments! 

I got a total kick on how the kitten's name was Sushi. 

I couldn’t agree with Dan more on the point that grief and trauma don’t disappear after an allocated time. I totally felt the emotional pain Freya was going through with her tremendous loss of her best friend Harper! I fully understand what she goes through with her panic attacks and her anxiety. 

This is another twisted read to add to your TBR pile.

First, I want to thank Steena Holmes, Joffe Books and Zooloo Book Tours for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review. 

Steena Holmes caught my attention with Nick Castle’s incredible eye-catching cover and her title Nine Missing Girls! If you follow my reviews you know that I am a sucker for a missing person case novel!! It is actually one of my go to genre’s! Steena states in the beginning of this book that this is a book of short stories that follow Detective Meri Amber. This character has already been in The Sister Under The Stairs and The Girls in the Basement (However, I have not but you can read this without knowing her backstory). 

Out of all the short stories in Nine Missing Girls there were some that captured my interest and fascinated me more than the others. The Birthday Room was one of them was a creatively twisted written scenario that my heart just ached for these kids. I wanted to jump into the story and say it is ok if you can tell the truth! I don’t think I have ever read a crazier story than this! Mrs. Lillian was a madwoman at what she was doing!! Seriously, you have never ever been to a Birthday like this before in your life!! 

What I like about her character is her search for the missing girls isn’t just about her profession, it is a vow to bring her one step closer to understanding what happened to her own sister and to who took her.

There was another story that mentioned a character by the last name Benton. I had a chuckle because my brother in law’s name is that and I have never seen his name anywhere else written before. So, whenever I saw the character’s name I thought of him! Thanks Sheena for making me smile with that one.

WOWZERS!!! Don’t Answer The Phone has to be Miranda Rijks is one of my favorite books I have ever read by her!! Her book was so twisted and addicting that I lost track of time and read it in one sitting. Oh I devoured it and found myself yelling at the kindle with all the mind blowing twists and turns that I never ever saw coming! Then again some of them there were no warning signs, none at all!! Miranda was good with her shock value!! 

Oh boy this book was a doozy! Miranda reminded me that being single is not so bad after all!! Who needs all the drama and whatever else comes with it?! 

Don’t Answer That Phone was jam packed full of drama, lies, betrayals, secrets, cheating, violence, deaths, shocking discoveries, etc. 

This is surely a book that will have everybody talking long after they read it. So much I want to write about in this review but if I do I might give away spoilers! Trust me I want to talk about this book!! So, go get this book and when you get done reading it, come find me and we need to talk about Lucas! 

Don’t Answer That Phone deserves more than 5 stars and is a must read!

Dang!!! I am not a Mommy but a very proud Auntie and you better believe I was screaming How Could You Let This Happen??!!!! Jen Craven made me want to hop in my car and drive from Buffalo to Pittsburgh to hold my niece and nephew tight and make sure they were fully aware of the lesson of this story!! How Can You Let This Happen is a clear your calendar engaging binge-read in one sitting where you totally lose track of time! This is a must read for everyone but may hit closer to home for readers who have school age children. 

The beginning of the book when Cici was talking about motherhood was the perfect intro to the book and spot on for what was to come. 

Jen took me on an emotional anxiety rollercoaster with this ride as I put myself into Cici’s shoes. I felt as if I was a fly on the wall and feeling all the feels that she felt. 

How Can You Let This Happen would be a great addition to a book club discussion group. Reason being there are multiple deep and serious topics that are addressed that are not usually addressed in books. Jen in my opinion went above and beyond and created a very unique outside the box storyline. 

How Can You Let This Happen examines friendships after tragedy strikes, consequences of lying, underage drinking at a party, and much more!  

Jen Craven’s How Can You Let This Happen deserves more than 5 stars!! Her book is fast paced, addicting, gripping, emotional, engaging, and at times will have you yelling at your Kindle!!! As much as I loved Cici there were times I didn’t agree with her actions!! But seriously this is a must read!!
