NSYNC 30th Anniversary Celebration
Written By Selena Fragassi
Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews
First, I want to thank Selena Fragassi and Quarto Books for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Calling all die hard fans of NSYNC it is imperative that you go out and get Selena Fragassi’s NSYNC 30th Anniversary Celebration book that she just wrote!! It is incredibly detailed with never before heard of stories (ok I never heard of them), beautiful pictures of them throughout the years, a discography of solo and together projects, and timeline of events. You learn about where the boys individually came from, how they became a band, and to what they have been up to since the group breakup. Selena made this book an extremely special collectors edition for all those who love NSYNC!!
If you did not know you do now that I am a HUGE fan of NSYNC!!! I have mad crushes on Lance and JC. I have loved their music and them since the early 90’s! Like Selena you can see me in the grocery store when my fave song Tearin Up My Heart comes on and I am lip syncing or bopping my head to the music. Oh I don’t care who sees me lol…those are my boys! So, when I heard Selena wrote a book about NSYNC just like she did about my other obsession New Kids On The Block oh I knew I had to read it and review it for her!! Side note if you have not read her New Kid On The Block book what are you waiting for? That is another good read!
Selena really did educate me in this book on many things I did not know about. For example I did not know there was a 5th member by the name of Jason right before they found Lance. That was an interesting story to hear about. Wonder where it is now and if he is kicking himself for not sticking with it. However, if he never left the world might not have met Lance!
Selena gave us a backstory of where each of the boys came from, their home life, how they got into the band, and later on in the book we get an update on where they are now in life.
Over the years there have been wars with The Backstreet Boys and NSYNC and Selena discusses his and includes pictures. This gets me thinking…are The Backstreet Boys going to get their book next time around? I do love them too! I had the honor of meeting Howie D and Nick at the Boulevard Mall back in the day. Howie and AJ are my faves!
You can’t talk about NSYNC without talking about The Original Mickey Mouse Club and how Justin met and got their start there. Not to mention all the incredible young talent that would grow up to be famous stars! Oh and we all know that is where Justin met Brittney.
Speaking of Justin and Britney Selena went there and focused on them and everything that has been going on to the present day! She did an incredible job summarizing everything up perfectly. My two cents…I love NSYNC..loved Justin and Britney together back in the day…but after reading Britney’s new book and learning Justin’s actions sorry but I am team Britney.
Selena dives in and explains everything that happened with what went on with the whole Lou Pearlman situation and included pictures.
NSYNC 30th Anniversary Celebration is an incredibly researched, well put together and very well written book that every NSYNC fan should have.
