There’s a knock at the door. It’s every mother’s worst nightmare: the police are here. They tell me my beautiful daughter Charlotte has been hurt. They’ll take me to the hospital, there’s no time to lose… and I know this must be all my fault.

Charlotte and I argued so badly the last time we spoke. I was just worried about her, but she refused to hear me out. And now she’s lying pale, still and silent in a hospital bed. I’m convinced this was no accident: the police should be questioning her boyfriend,
Freddie.

I never thought he was good enough for her, but did he hurt my daughter? Guilt floods through me again and again. If we hadn’t argued, she wouldn’t have been with him today. If we hadn’t argued, I could have been there for her. But I didn’t listen and instead, she pushed me away. I didn’t even know my darling girl was pregnant.

And now she’s lost forever. The doctors say she will never wake up: the only part of her they can save is her unborn child…

There’s only one thing I can do. He may be my grandchild’s father, but
I know Freddie is dangerous. I’ll fight with everything I have to prove he’s guilty.

I failed to protect Charlotte, but how far will I have to go to keep her baby safe? And will what’s left of my family ever survive:
or will my part in my daughter’s death tear us all apart?

A heartbreaking and totally compelling novel about the never-ending depths of a mother’s love. Perfect for fans of Jodi Picoult, Jojo Moyes and Kate Hewitt.

Emma Robinson is the author of several women’s fiction novels. She also blogs about the funny side of parenting and has contributed to podcasts such as Funny Women. All My Fault

Written By Emma Robinson

Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Emma Robinson, Bookouture and NetGalley for providing this book so I may bring you this review.

Ohhh how I have been craving an Emma Robinson book!! Her books always give me the feels, touch my heart in so many ways, and make me tear up! In All My Fault she goes a little dark and adds a little mystery which is refreshing from some of her past stories. If you are a die hard fan of Emma’s like I am you will need to go pick this one up.

All My Fault focuses on a truly heartbreaking unthinkable tragedy where Charlotte was injured in an accident. My heart broke in two for her poor mother who had to piece everything together of what really happened to her daughter. Oh there were so many wickedly shocking twists and turns that I was even stunned by some of them.

Anna Rivera may not be ready to say goodbye to her burlesque troupe—or New York City—but she’s determined to go out with a bang. Which is when she sees a face in the crowd that sends her heart rate through the roof. Max Cooper. Her brother’s friend, and the object of many, many teenage fantasies. But while Max may look like sin in a suit, he’s not prepared for the moves she’s got in store...

Max knows he should turn away—Anna’s been off-limits forever—but he can’t help himself. The electric connection sizzles between them, but Max knows better than to play with fire. This calls for rules. Boundaries. Setting out expectations. Just a hot little hook-up and that’s it.

But fate plays dirty. Soon Max and Anna find themselves stuck in their small hometown together, and avoiding that sexy spark is impossible. Now they’re sneaking around enjoying one month of no-holds-barred, unbelievably wicked sex—until Anna leaves for her next gig. And all the consequences in the world might not be enough to stop this fling they’ve started...

Amanda Usen has spent most of her life immersed in story—and butter, sugar, flour, and eggs. After graduating from college, she fortified her English BA with a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, figuring a professional chef would never be a starving writer. Amanda loves chocolate, yoga, and carbs in all forms. When she isn't writing or cooking, she can usually be found reading or hanging out with her small menagerie of cats, ducks, and mostly-grown children.

One Night Stand Ever After

Written By Amanda Usen

Reviewed By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank WNY Author Amanda Usen and Entangled Publishing for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

WOW!! I knew this was going to be a fun read but dang Amanda Usen turned up the heat with this one! One Night Stand Ever After had some spice to it and oh Amanda has a gift for this genre!! There were some explicit scenes where I felt I was a fly on the wall watching.

One aspect of the book that I appreciated that was mentioned in the book was the practice of safe sex and how important condoms are.

I kept laughing that the couple's nicknames for eachother was Book Boy and Pancakes.

The Romance Library
Written By Olivia Spring
Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Olivia Spring and Hartley Publishing for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

I have been a fan of Olivia Spring Rom Com’s for a while now. However, none of her books grasped my attention, felt relatable, and touched my heart the way that this one did. I felt we were seeing a different side of Olivia in this book.

What originally grabbed my attention was the fun bookish graphic on the front that very much represented the book well.

I can totally relate to Mr. Davis when she said that ‘Reading is like a holiday for the mind. Books allow you to experience a million different adventures without leaving home.’ We both couldn’t agree more and can’t imagine life without them.

Jessica seemed to be very passionate once about reading but it was taken away from her. I was very interested to find out what made her lose that fire within her.

I could not stop laughing when Mrs. Davis asked Jessica if she had a boyfriend. After I just entered into the dating pool after many years away I could vouch for Jessica's statement that real-life boyfriends aren’t as good as fictional ones.

Now, I am an open minded reader and little shocks me but there was one scene I was not expecting to see in Olivia’s book. I too wanted to knee that guy in the balls!!

It was mixed emotions along with Jes when we heard that she

had acquired Mrs. Davis dreams of building a romance library after only meeting her once. This is the story about bringing Mrs Davis' dream to become a  reality no matter what the obstacles that stopped in their way.

Of course there has to be a little bit of romance in this book as that is what Olivia is best known for.

The Romance Library is definitely a book you must put on your TBR List as it is a must read.

Meet The Parents

Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Emily Shiner, Bookouture, and NetGalley for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

Ohh it has been a hott minute since I have been able to sync my eyes into a Emily Shiner book!! Ohh let me tell you Meet The Parents was definitely worth the wait!! Emily casted this book with characters with deep dark secrets that made this story ever so twisted. If you are a fan of Emily Shiner like I am, this is a must read!

Emily’s prologue started out intense, detailed, action packed, and attention grabbing. It left you with so many questions that you just had to keep reading on just to find out the answers.

My heart instantly ached for Gina as a young girl witnessed the death of her Aunt. Just as we find out this tragic news in the story Emily flashes back to the night in question and we get to be a fly on the wall and witness it happen. Gina knows who did this to her Aunt….

Ohh how I didn’t care for Marta!! She was Owen’s mother and despised Gina! She would do anything to tear them apart! She totally got under my skin!!
