This is a story about taking a leap of faith
And believing the unbelievable
They say those we love never truly leave us, and I’ve found that to be true. But not in the way you might expect. In fact, none of this is what you’d expect.
I’ve been visiting my mother who died when I was eight.
And I’m talking about flesh and blood, tea-and-biscuits-on-the-table visiting here.
Right now, you probably think I’m going mad.
Let me explain…
Although Faye is happy with her life, the loss of her mother as a child weighs on her mind even more now that she is a mother herself. So she is amazed when, in an extraordinary turn of events, she finds herself back in her childhood home in the 1970s. Faced with the chance to finally seek answers to her questions – but away from her own family – how much is she willing to give up for another moment with her mother?
Space Hopper is an original and poignant story about mothers, memories and moments that shape life.

First, I want to thank Helen Fisher, Simon & Schuster UK, and Random Things Tours for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.
WOW!! Space Hopper by Helen Fisher is one of the most refreshing unlike anything that is out there today! I just loved this unique storyline that Helen came up with. You must put this on your TBR list!! It is definitely a must read book.
Helen would like to dedicate this book to her children Cleo, Dylan who are good, kind, clever and funny.
After reading Space Hopper I felt the urge to call my Mom and tell her I loved her! I bet I won’t be the only one who feels this way!
I absolutely loved the start of the book how it felt like Faye was literally having a conversation with us readers. She was hesitant to tell us her big secret like she was afraid we would stop reading the book. I thought that was so cute! She didn’t scare me off though!
Faye’s occupation in my opinion is so unique! I loved how she designed products for people with partial or no sight. She must have a huge heart of gold to want to help those individuals.
Helen’s book surprised me as I am not really into sci fi or time travel. However, this one captured my heart and tugged on my heart strings a little bit.
She had such cute analogies that had hidden meaningful messages in them.
One thing that stood out to me is Eddie’s unconditional love for Faye! No matter how crazy things got he stood by her through thick and thin. She was blessed to have a good man!
Space Hopper would be the perfect book for a book club to read. Infact, Helen has some discussion questions in the back of the book that will have you gabbing for hours.
