Book Review: Most Likely To Die By P.J. Stanley #AvailableonKUJune4

Voted Most Likely to Die by her peers, popular cheerleader Brynn Baldwin can’t wait to graduate and start college in the fall. However, when the school yearbooks are released, Brynn’s world is shaken. Someone has defaced her elected superlative,
now branding her the girl Most Likely to Die. As a psychotic killer dressed as the Bridgefield High mascot, Billy the Bull, begins to slash their way through the ones closest to Brynn, she discovers that no one can be trusted…and everyone has a secret.

Release in June 4, 2020. Will be available on KU!

The book is a throwback to the classic 90s whodunnit slasher movies. I wrote this book for slasher fans. The genre has been somewhat quiet the last few years and I wanted to give the genre fans something to sink their teeth into. Filled with inventive deaths, good characters, blood, and lots of heart.

P.J. Stanley thrives on telling stories that keep you guessing, speeding through the pages to find out wha awaits within the darkness around the next corner. Growing up in a small Illinois town, P.J. escaped through the county lines of his mind with writing. What started as a simple hobby blossomed into an unrelenting passion, paving the way for the twisted tales awaiting to be told. P.J. now resides in Indiana with his boyfriend and three fur babies, Kaiser, Blitz, and Leo.

Most Likely To Die By P.J. Stanley

Review by Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank P.J. Stanley for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

P.J. Stanley once again has written a must read thriller entitled Most Likely To Die! He has talent when it comes to writing in this genre. He knows what his target audience wants and he gives it to them.

Juan Padron has major skills when it comes to designing book covers. The one he did for Most Likely To Die really caught interest and pulled me into wanting to know more about the story. His idea and concept really captured the book and the title as a whole.

There are a few things I commend P.J. On. While this is a book of serious nature he finds ways to sneak in some humor. He had me cracking up laughing hysterically at many scenes! He is really good with description and making you feel like you are right there in the book. Although...this book is one book I would not want to be in.
