Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews
First, I want to thank JE Rowney and Rachel’s Random Resources for providing me with this book so I may bring you with this review.
JE Rowney gives her readers an in-depth eye opening glimpse of Midwife just Starting Out her career. I found it to be very fascinating as JE educated us not only on the job itself but some of the cases.
I have been a fan of JE’s Midwife series so I was glad to see it continue. However, this book can be read as a standalone and you will be able to follow along just fine.
One of the many things I truly love about this book was the strong friendship bond between Violet and her bestie Zoe. No matter how hard times got for either of them they always had eachother’s back to lean on.
JE Interjected some very wise words of wisdom and inspiration into this story through her characters.
Anxiety is an issue that Violent faces in this issue. I speak from experience when I say it is not an easy one to deal with. The fear of the unknown especially in this day of age can be scary for many. In some of the scenes I could feel what she was going through.

Ronan.
His name thrums through me like a heartbeat.
I climbed out of the smoldering crater of my life only to find myself back in the middle of a slow-motion trainwreck. I’m hunted, torn between my past and present, ripped apart by two warring families. My husband is dead, and his killer is the only man who’s ever felt the deep well of emotion I keep hidden from the world.
Ronan.
Vicious and scarred—his rough touch is seared into my skin, but his soft caresses are what break down my walls bit by bit. Until there’s only me left. My soul in his bloody hands, and my broken heart beating just for him. Only him.
Ronan.
My shadowy protector, my phantom lover—kiss me or kill me, I don’t care. As long as you’re the one who does it.

Royally Crushed
Melanie Summers
(Crazy Royal Love, #1)
Genres: Adult, Comedy, Contemporary, Romance
A wildly funny, ridiculously romantic spinoff from best-selling author Melanie Summers…
Princess Arabella of Avonia has spent her first twenty-nine years in an endless loop of high teas, state dinners, and the same five conversations. Every minute of her day is planned by someone else. From what to wear to what to eat, the royal handlers keep her on a tight leash. To make matters worse, they’ve extended their duties to include finding her a suitable husband before she turns thirty. Desperate for an out, she sneakily signs up to co-host a new nature docu-series, starring Will Banks, the man dubbed McHotty of the Wilderness.
Will has ladies all over the globe lining up to meet him until a hot, new adventure show comes on the scene, and his ratings take a nose-dive. Producers decide an emergency change in format is in order. Enter Princess Arabella. The pampered and proper royal is the perfect foil to Will’s rugged outdoorsman.
It’s hate at first sight, but their on-screen loathing makes for great television. Surprisingly, when the cameras stop rolling, these two finally see each other’s good sides. Can these opposites find their forever in each other’s arms, or will their differences be their undoing?

The room is dark, except for the streetlights coming through the blinds. I can barely see her, but I feel her. She pushes me up against the wall and we kiss harder than we ever have before. I’ve been waiting so long for it to happen, and finally, it’s going to. Then the bedroom door flies open, and someone screams her name…
Britton Walsh has never had a home. After a lifetime in the care system, she doesn't expect she’ll ever find one. But beginning her senior year with new foster parents in a new city, means starting over yet again. Tom and Cate Cahill seem okay. The hitch? Their daughter, Avery.
Beautiful, popular and cool, Avery is everything Britton is not. She’s all Britton could ever ask for in a sister, or even a friend––but having survived without either for so long, Britton knows the way her heart races whenever Avery enters the room can only mean one thing…
