Judy Kroll worked for over twenty years in large and small corporations, including four years in the pharmaceutical industry, as a human resources professional and later as a career counselor. She provided job search assistance to hundreds of individuals, including physicians, pharmacists, medical device developers, chemists, and other scientists impacted by mergers and downsizings. She is a practicing yogi (twenty-three years.) Both corporate experiences as well as many years 'on the mat' inspired her book, Breakthrough. Specifically, in both of these very disparate worlds, she observed the same phenomenon: the devastation wrought when a much-respected boss or mentor turns out to be unethical, and one must find a new path forward, seemingly alone.

She lives in northern New Jersey, and in addition to writing, gardening, and practicing yoga, Judy co-chairs a not-for-profit conservation organization.

The Night Nurse - A Heart Pounding Medical Thriller That Will Stay With You Long After The Final Page

Fans of Freida McFadden and James Patterson will be riveted by this thrilling and emotional tale about the day of a daughters death, as told by her father two years after she was lost too soon, at the hands of evil hiding in the darkness of the night shift.

After ten days in a children's hospital, Winslow and Joey Miller were ready to take their daughter Chloe home. She was recovering, smiling again, and dreaming of her future outside the hospital walls. That's when Winslow saw a swarm of nurses racing toward Chloe's room and moments later his world collapsed.

What happened that day would shatter the Miller family. Chloe couldn't be saved, but her parents soon discover the unthinkable: her death may not have been natural. And if the killer hiding among the nurses isn't found more children will die.

Healing from the events comes at a devastating cost. For Winslow, that journey begins with a letter—a letter that starts with "Dear Chloe" and unravels the dark secret of April 18th... and The Night Nurse.

        The Night Nurse

Written By Scott Gilles

Review By Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Scott Gilles for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

WOW!! My mind is blown away and literally speechless by Scott Gilles debut Medical Psychological Thriller The Night Nurse!! If you follow my reviews you know I love a good Psychological Thriller but throw in a good medical storyline and well you have a fan for life! Scott this was a 5 star read! I still can’t believe this was your debut novel! You have a gift for writing in this genre! I hope you continue to blow our minds for many books to come.

Kudos to Adam Kleinart for the dark and spooky cover design of The Night Nurse that makes you want to know what the book is about.

Scott wants to thank his better half Emily and for always lifting him up.

OMG Scott in my eyes is a creative genius on so many levels with this book! First off I don’t think I have ever read a Medical Psychological Thriller nor a Psychological Thriller that has pulled on my heart strings and made me tear up multiple times before! So there is a first! WOW! Right away Scott pulled hard on my heart strings penning a letter to his sweet young daughter Chloe who we find out just passed. He was narrating the book as to tell her the events that unfolded.

Scott needs to be commended for his attention to detail, his descriptions, and his metaphors in what he talks about. He shows not so much compassion and love he has not just for his daughter but his wife as well.

The Night Nurse took a very wicked and evil turn that was so sick and twisted!!! When I say evil I mean evil! So much so I am going to be looking over my shoulder next time I need to get my blood drawn (and yes I am a hard stick with bad veins that needs  to be well hydrated and use a butterfly needle each time. I have horror stories of my own). There were so many sharp twists and turns that kept you on the edge of your seat.

Compassion is what I felt for all of those involved! I wanted to reach in and hugged those that were affected by the sick monsters!!

Ohh waterworks wouldn’t stop flowing as Chloe wrote her own letter in response back to her Dad. You see, my Dad passed away 11 months ago and I would give anything for some sort of communication with him. So the way Scott wrote this into the storyline was incredibly sweet.

If you love Medical Psychological Thrillers like I do you must add this to your TBR list!! It is a must read!!
