Q: If you could eat only one food for the rest of ever, what would it be? 

A: Pizza! I love pizza so much it's become a running joke with some of my readers that my characters eat pizza at least once in each of my books. At first, I didn't realize I was doing it, but now I find myself adding in meals of pizza on purpose because I know it'll get a laugh.

Q: When you write your books, do you have actors already picked out for your characters or do you pick them out after the book is finished?

A: I pick them out before I ever start writing. In fact, that's part of my plotting process. I always start out by naming and celebrity dream casting my characters. Like you may remember, I'm not a very visual writer (or reader). It's very hard for me to picture characters, settings, or scenes. For the most part, I just hear what's going on inside my head. So, for me, dream casting is a way to create a very clear picture of what my characters look like! Without it, I've been known to change hair color, hair style, eye color, height, and more throughout a book! The most memorable time was when my editor caught that I had a character who was described as having a pixie cut hairstyle pulling her hair into a messy bun a few chapters later! Oops!

Q: Do you ever work on more than one book at a time?
A: Most often, I'm writing one book while editing, proofreading, and formatting another. And, of course, I'm always plotting new stories in my head. I never write two at once though, I would totally get them mixed up!

First, I want to thank Kiersten Modglin for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review!!

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! OMG!!! Everyone has some secrets in their family but NONE quite like the Bass family!! Kiersten Modglin the goddess of suspense has my head still spinning out of control and totally speechless with The Family Secret!! There is just so much I loved about this book it is unreal!!

The Family Secret is going to have EVERYONE talking!!! If you thought The Reunion (my former fave) you NEED to read this one!! Ohh it is my new ultimate favorite book Kiersten has ever written!! It had a little bit of everything that every reader could want and more with oh so much shock value in it!! 

Can we talk about the awesome out of the box names that Kiersten chose for her characters?! I loved how she spelled the name Austyn! Then I thought it was comical that there was a Dallas too! Can’t forget the name Fallon and Lowell! I love when an author thinks outside of the box for names or storylines! 

Celia’s story was one of my favorite storylines throughout the book! After getting to read her personal thoughts I just had to know who she was. The mystery of how she played a part in everything pulled me deeper into the story!! 

If you have read books by Kiersten before you know she is the queen of dramatic, shocking and thrilling climaxes. Well, this one totally threw me for a loop with the scene she wrote. I kept replaying in my mind as it seemed so vivid like a movie playing. It was a little out of character as it was sexy yet thrilling at the same time. 

How in the world will Kiersten top this awesome read?! Each of her books gets more addicting and intense!! She is one author that I would read anything from!!
