A: Oh, that's a great question. For one thing, I love the show New Girl, specifically the dynamics of the characters' relationships. In a lot of my stories, I like to write men and women as best friends (Dan and Edith in Tell Me the Truth, Jesse and Quinn in The Healer, Nick and Laura in The Perfect Getaway, , because I don't think that's something we see often enough.
Q: If you had to choose, which would you pick and why? A dinner with 5 of your favorite singers or a dinner with 5 of your favorite actors?
A: I haven't watched TV in a few weeks, actually, because I've been reading so much! But last night, my husband and I started the first episode of The Bear on Hulu. I'm a HUGE fan of Jeremy Allen White (remember Stefan from The Arrangement had a dog named Lip after Lip Gallagher?) and I've been hearing rave reviews about this one, so I'm excited to see how it goes!
Q: Other than your beautiful office, where is your favorite place to write?
A: Ebooks for sure! I do most of my reading when my family is in bed and the house is dark and quiet. Ebooks make for the easiest reading experience for me, plus I love always having a new book just a click away. KindleUnlimited for the win!
A: Oh, fun! And surprisingly enough, it's not even a hard question. I'd choose Noah from The Missing, Natasha from The Perfect Getaway, and Dan from Tell Me the Truth. Without a doubt, my favorite characters. I'm sure there'd be a lot of laughs!
Q: Are you listening to any good music lately?
A: I'm loving Jordan Davis's new song, Next Thing You Know. The song for my latest book is Villian by Lily Rose, so I'm also listening to that quite a bit!
Q: Do you have any back-to-school advice for moms?
A: This is my first year with a child in school, so I'm a newbie at this. I think the best advice I could give (and who am I to give advice at this point?! I'm sure some of you have better advice to give!) would be to just allow yourself (and your child) a lot of grace over the coming weeks. This is a tough time for everyone. It's a huge change in routine. As someone who is a stickler about routine, it's been especially tough. But as mommas, we adapt and that's all we can do. Sending all the parents out there lots and lots of love!

Ohh Kiersten Modglin If You’re Reading This…I needed to break out a box of tissues for this one! WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! You said fans of The Reunion were going to love this one and you were spot on! However, this is now my ultimate favorite book of yours! It is everything that I personally love in a book, a story that will pull on your heart strings, It has so many OMG shocking moments, and some sharp twists and turns.
Kiersten, this is the first book that made me break out the tissues!! YES!! The princess of psychological thrillers made me ugly cry many times! Oh there were some very powerful and heart wrenching scenes where I felt like a fly on the wall just watching everything unfold. My heart just broke in millions of pieces with each emotionally raw scene! I just loved it!!
Oh Kiersten drew me instantly into the powerful, intense, emotionally driven fast paced storyline. It is highly addictive where once you pick up the book you can't put it down til the last page. It is just so good!!
You could just sense how passionate Kiersten was about these characters and that this story was dear to her heart. It came out beautifully in her writing.
Kiersten time and time again continues to impress the heck out of me with how creative she is with the stories she writes! I often wonder where she gets her inspiration as some of these stories are so out there! She thinks outside of the box and that is why I love her writing so much!
If You Are Reading This is going to be Kiersten’s next best seller! It is a must read! Definitely 5 stars!!
