Ohh Kiersten Modglin you are killing me!!! I thought your Just Married book was good and then you published Our Little Secret!!! DAM!!! Our Little Secret BLEW Just Married out of the water by a landslide!! Oh the shocking I can’t believe Kiersten went their moments were off the chain!! The incredible twists and turns that if you blinked you would literally miss something. Oh and you think you know what is going to happen but you have no clue!! Kiersten you have Best Seller written all over this one!!
What I loved about this cover of Kiersten’s was it was simple yet errie. It made you question what the book was about. Yet, it was perfect for the concept of the book.
One thing I loved about this book is that Kiersten had a contest and two of her readers got to be chosen as characters in the book. This idea was genius. I bet they were very honored and appreciative of her. Congrats to the two of you that were so lucky to be mentioned in the book.
I am a fairly new fan of Kiersten’s as this is my second book I have read of hers. However, her name and popularity status has been blown up among social media feeds! I had to check her out! I now understand why everyone is raving about her as I am now too! She has a different writing style than most other psychological thriller writers have. If you know me you know this is one of my fave genres and kind of obsessed with reading. So for me to say she is one of the best and I will be investing my money into her books on Amazon says a lot!! Now that I have read two of hers I need to read more!
Our Little Secret surrounds the mystery of what happened to a gentleman by the name of Ted who is well loved by his wife, sons, and community. This is not your average missing person case as there is so much more involved to this story. Then again are these stories ever really ever that cut and dry.
I do have to say I was cracking up laughing so many times at the mischief that the teenage boys got into! Oh they were so bad!! I know it is so wrong but it was just too funny!!
There were moments that I felt empathy for some of the characters and what they were going through. Then again I have a huge heart for a lot of subjects.
My mind was totally blown away at the climatic scene that was not at all expected!!I was just dumbfounded! It was omg she went there and later omg she went there deeper!! But it was ohh so good and that’s why I adore this woman!!
My main question is why has Netflix not picked up any of her books for a series?! This one is a must!!
