A Taste of His Own Medicine

How long can the desire for revenge last?

Kate Shaw, a successful pharmacist, goes to a thirty-year reunion at her old university and uses the weekend to settle some old scores. Her main target is her ex-lover, Jonathan. She decides to scar him for life as he scarred her. Her bizarre plan works but he shocks her with his strange, unwanted reaction.

What is the unexpected link between Jonathan and Kate’s husband?

What is the significance of the ‘Love Bite’ photograph?

What hold does Jonathan have over Kate?

Revenge is never simple.

A darkly humorous story of love, lust, loss and vengeance.

Heidi Lynn’s Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Linda Fawke and Rachel’s Random Resources for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

OH WOW!! Linda Fawke goes where rarely any other author goes on more than one occasion in A Taste of his own Medicine. I was totally and blown away by this book and could not put it down until the end.

Fiona Routlege created such a cute and such an appropriate cover design for Linda’s book. It not only went along with the theme of the title but the book as well.

Linda dedicates this book to her long-suffering-husband, Tony, who has read the book more times than either of us know.

In the beginning of the book there is a section prior to the first chapter that was not clearly labeled. My thoughts were that it was considered a prologue to the story. Nevertheless, it was a powerful start to the story that many can probably relate to.

This book started off steamy with two former lovers after years of being apart reunited. Linda wrote these intimate scenes with class.

Linda had me cracking up laughing when Kate asked Johnathan if he had ever been an underware model. He still had his model physique she had noticed.

Taste of your own medicine goes from modern day to the past. I enjoyed learning how they met and how their relationship bloomed.

Linda brings up a very important yet rarely discussed topic in A Taste of his own Medicine that may trigger some readers. This issue would be Lesbian Assult and the use of the date rape drug. These scenes were graphic in nature. It was truly an eye opening storyline.

A Taste of his own Medicine oh you will find out why the book is named that! It is wickedly evil, jaw dropping and totally mind blowing.

This is the perfect genre for Linda to write in. She has talent!!
