Rachael Sircar is the author of the Data Driven series, as well as several stand alone novels, including Taking Pictures.
Her novels are written with a Christian mindset in dealing with earthly situations.

When not writing, she enjoys teaching second grade.
During school breaks, you will find Rachael tapping away at her laptop on her patio while watching the waterbirds, deer, and other delightful creatures meander around their own personal lake.
She loves camping, playing flute/percussion with the band at church, and spending quality time with friends, but especially teaching. She absolutely loves to work with her kiddos.

Rachael has been married to a wonderful man for over twenty years and has two amazing children and a spoiled rotten dog.

Book Summary

Hidden Jipsie • Book 1 • Hide
This is the first installment of a three part novelette series.

She doesn't know it yet.
But Jipsie is hidden.

It isn’t until she is seventeen years old that she is whisked away from the life she has known and planted into a new existence, speaking a new language, and struggling to resist looking back.

She is forced to flee time and again, escaping an unknown threat, not understanding what the father she has never met has to do with the reason she is hidden.

Jipsie must adopt a new identity for each country in which she is sent. And with every identity, she is transformed into a stronger, yet harsher person than the one before, her heart turning colder with each new personality, her morality and compassion crumbling with each move.

During these seasons of survival, Jipsie dares not love, yet can’t help but discover companions, lovers, and friends during her tenuous stays in countries dotting the world. Her soul is crushed as each of those individuals are torn from her when she is once again found by the ones from which she is being hidden.

But throughout these connections, she has yet to give up her heart.
Because the one thing she has yet to relinquish to her fate is hope.

First, I want to thank Rachael Sircar for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Rachel Sircar does it yet again by writing another must read book of 2019! Hidden Jipsie is just one of three novelettes’ in this very fast moving and thrilling series. One that I must continue to read to see what happens to Jipsie.

One major reason I adore Rachael’s writing so much is she thinks way outside the box on her storylines. She blew me away with the first book I ever read from her Given New Worlds. Instantly, I became a fan of hers. So when she said she was writing Hidden Jipsie I knew I had to read it. Boy, am I glad that I did. Like the last book she kept and held my attention from start to finish. Of course, it had to end with a cliffhanger!!

The book starts out in present day where we meet Jipsie. It is there where Rachael hooks you into the book. Then she takes you back in time and shares you Jipsie’s story. Some of Jipsie’s story will definitely tug on your heart strings as it did mine.

Rachael seems so passionate about the character Jipsie and all the ups and downs in her life. You can tell as you read her story. Jipsie is an incredibly strong character to go through everything life has thrown her way. However, as the saying goes whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

I don’t know where this series is headed but I do know this first book would be great as a NetFlix Original Series! It has all the elements to it such as drama, secrets, hiding from the bad people, suspense,
