A: My readers! In the KMod Squad, my admins asked readers where they would like to see my latest story set and so many of you asked for a cruise thriller I couldn't resist. I already had the initial idea for this story in my head, which was about a group of friends on vacation when tragedy strikes, so it was all too easy to change the setting slightly and, in fact, I think the new setting made things even more strange and mysterious! Q: Have you ever been on a cruise? If so, where did you go? A: I have! I went on the same cruise in this story, actually! In 2019, my family traveled to Cozumel and Costa Maya.
