Review: No More Bets By Mitzi Einstein

She came to Las Vegas to get away from her life. He decided to leave and start over.
When dealt a bad hand, they can either bluff or reconcile with the truth.
At the age of twenty, Rosie Bern’s life completely changed – she found out she had cancer, left school and was dumped by her boyfriend. For three years she has been struggling to get her life back on track as well as start a new relationship, after being ghosted by every man who got wind of her illness.
Determined to pull Rosie out of her pity-party, her childhood friend invites her to Las Vegas, where her father owns a luxury hotel.

Jack Black has always dreamt of being a renowned chef, but ever since he came to Las Vegas, and lost the money his mother had left him after passing away from cancer, the only thing he seems to succeed at is being an escort who pleases rich women.
When Jack and Rosie meet, Jack can't tell Rosie who he really is, and when Rosie thinks she knows the truth, she decides to pretend to be someone who can make his dream come true.
How will they handle the fact that they each represent what the other dislikes?
What will happen when it’s time to show their hand?
Jack and Rosie's stories are based on true events. Each gently tackles a barrier which may seem impossible to overcome until taking the first step.
“No More Bets” is the second story in the series. It is dedicated to those who have learned to love themselves and to those who aspire to.

As her relative's famous saying goes, Mitzi Einstein is a living example that imagination is more important than knowledge.

At the age of 41, after having faced death, she realized that she wasn't living the life that she wanted; her MBA, her executive position, and her marriage were all taking her in the wrong direction. As if someone had heard her silent scream, her life began to completely fall apart; she resigned her job, found out she had cancer, fought a heroic battle and won. Divorced with three little kids, her life seemed to be in chaotic mess, wrapped in fears and looming uncertainty. Then, of all times, she decided to start over again, and within that darkness, she found within her a small flame that led her towards a greater light - her writing.

Ever since her recovery, Mitzi has been dedicating her life to spreading kindness and happiness everywhere she goes. She mentors, advises and helps people overcome crises and struggles in their lives.

Her first best-selling duet "Crime of My Love" was published last year. During this period, she was writing the "Jack and Rosie" series, which is based on personal events and is meant to inspire others.

Mitzi defines herself as a reborn woman; a single mother of three children, surrounded by her family and friends, a full-time writer, and in love with her own pr
ivate Jack.

Review by Heidi Lynn's Book Reviews

First, I want to thank Mitzi Einstein for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Right away Mitzi Einstein spoke directly to my heart with her life lesson. Something that over the past few years I have lived as my motto. We all get knocked down and get hurt at least once. That is a part of life. However, what happens next is a choice we must make. It can break us or make us stronger. If you knew my story you would know how true this is!

Just from the first page and her talking about acceptance of ones body, what we have, and what we want to improve-you can tell she is a beautiful person on the inside and out. It is so refreshing to read something so positive these days in a book like this. I commend her for writing this.

She dedicates this book to all those who have learned to love themselves, and those of those who aspire to.

I absolutely loved the reunion of the two friends Rosie and Vicky that not seen eachother in years. What a perfect place for a reunion but Las Vegas!

There is a character by the name of Jack Black in this book. Each time his name came up in the story I kept thinking of the actor/comedian! However, once you get past the famous name you will find his story extremely interesting.

I thought it was hilarious that Rosie most ambitious dream while in Las Vegas was to have casual sex, without any strings attached.

My heart went out to Rosie who has had a few difficult years health wise and past relationship wise. She needed this trip badly!
