An encouraging story about asking for help and working together.
Bats, ghosts, and spooky spider webs! Halloween is almost here and Lil Peter is determined to build a haunted house maze to attract the neighbor kids. First I want to thank Tasche Laine, her husband Peter Valdez III and Skye Blue Press for providing me with the book so I can bring you this review.
WOW!! Your kiddos or even the young at heart like me will totally fall in love with Teamwork Lil Peter It Works. Tasche Laine and Peter Valdez III bring the Halloween spirit out in this book! It literally had me smiling from ear to ear! It is a must read for your little ones. Who knows they might get some of their own fun ideas out of this book!
Peter, would like to dedicate this book to Terri Garcia, mother, nurturer and friend. She gave him the freedom to explore the outside until the streetlights came on. His dreams came true because of her encouragement to use his imagination.
There is a very good lesson to be learned in this book!
Mei Mei Leonard needs to be commended for the gift of illustrating such cute characters and scenes. The storyline Tasche and Peter wrote was extremely creative. Mei Mei’s drawings made the overall storyline pop!
