First, I want to thank Rae Shaw and Rachel’s Random Resources for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
Chance Encounters really did live up to Rae Shaw’s title of her latest book. There were a few surprise reunions in this book.
The chance encounter and reunion Mark had with his sister Ellen I loved. Yes, it was very strained but it was so great for them to reunite. There was so much pain and heartache in this family went through because of their crime their father was accused of.
I found it sad how Mark and his Mom’s relationship was so strained. I could totally understand why but it is just sad how distant they were. She was still holding on hope his father was innocent in the murder he supposedly committed.
When we did meet the father I quickly didn’t care for him. He was cold and was heartless. He made some shocking revelations that affected many lives.
