My daughter was murdered by my husband. Now I have a new little girl to look after. I have no idea who she is.
It’s been five years since my daughter was killed. It still hurts every day. I’ll never be over it but I am finally moving on with my life.
It’s pitch black when I wake up. I hear a child screaming outside. There’s a little girl is in my back yard. She can’t be older than five. She has terrified blue eyes.
Somebody has left her here.
When nobody claims her, I take her in. After all, I’m a professional foster parent. I will look after her like she’s my own child.
But she won’t even tell me her name. I have no idea who I’ve brought into my house.

First, I want to thank Sonya Bateman, Joffe Books and Zooloo Book Tours for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
WOW!!! The Foster Daughter by Sonya Bateman is an incredibly intense read from the very getgo. This book is fast paced, intense, mindblowing, heartbreaking, and will bring out so many emotions out of you with this read.
Being from Buffalo, NY I really loved how one of the scenes were in Syracuse.
